I’m gonna publish this because it could be useful for others as well

I use tumblr savior for chrome, but there’s also a version for firefox, and other things (I think?)

for chrome, once you install it, it shows up as a little black T icon to the right of the address bar.  if you click, you can add things to the black list (make sure to hit save!) and then they won’t show up on your dash, you’ll just get a little thing saying “____ made a post containing _____" and you can click to see it if you want

also, I have a handy dandy list of tags on my page of my most annoying things (although you probably already are aware)
