15) Describe your dream wedding
I have no idea on the specifics but I know it involves me wearing an Expensive Dress at a beautiful location and, most importantly, it’ll have an open bar. because (And this is the truth, everyone reading this) no one except, like, your mom cares about you getting married if it’s a dry wedding. I haven’t given a lot of thought to it, but I love bridal shows and I’m pretty sure I’d want at least a year to plan it.
19) Favorite lesbian novel/story?
Probably Backwards to Oregon by Jae. I’ve read others that are more intricate, more masterfully written, etc, but that one just tugs on my heart and gives me Feelings, and it’s an easy read that I can flip through when I’m Sad.
(Also, The Stone Gods by Jeanette Wintersson has a lesbian love story in it, but that book is So Much More and I adore it)
25) Be positive! What do you like most about being a lesbian?
G I R L S. the feelings of security, comfort, and genuine enjoyment and affection I feel around girls, especially other girls who like girls. share gay moments of “ugh, straight people”. knowing that I don’t have to live my life with a man!! the community. the shared humor and jokes. there’s a lot. I’m so glad I’m a lesbian.
