somehow i, a whole 22 year old, have a really shitty sense of object permanance. if i'm walking through the mall with like, my friends or my mom and i walk slightly faster than them and they disappear from my line of sight, my fuckin brain IMMMEDIATELY goes "oh, i can't see them anymore, they're gone forever" and i panic and turn my head about a quarter of a centimeter to the left and realize that they're still there and i'm just a Dumbass

usually 8 or 9, but ill take it at a lower level if im like about to go somewhere bc even a mild ache is extremely uncomfortable when u arent at home
