I've watched this.. tree(?), for a couple of days now. I first saw it early Saturday by the bridge, then later by the beach. While beginning to photograph interesting ice patterns left by the dropping tide, I realized there were two men in hi-viz down there stringing some devices along the shore. They look like they may be sensors of some sort, but I can't see them lasting very long. They also look like they could be explosive charges. They were going around here some years ago with similar sensors and a ground shaking machine to see about fracking. Not sure how that went, but I've seen no new wells in town.
