k i got tagged for a 10 things about you post I guess? i don't get the rules so basically i'm hella bored at work and you guys get to learn shit about me. savvy?

1) What do you enjoy most about the nutrition guidelines you’ve chosen? lately I've been eating terribly since I got into bad habits in death valley (you eat whatever is available in the town, regardless of health quality or your personal appetite) but when I'm doing my best eating lots of veg and fruit and whole grains i LOVE it and so does my body 2) Go-to outfit? workout clothes. in the winter, leggings and a tank and a jacket. if i could wear leggings to church i probably would. 3) What do you cook/make the best? i make a pretty mean pad thai, a yummy veggie stir fry, and a lemon salmon and quinoa that's pretty bomb 4) What is something about you that usually surprises people? I'm like a hella rad musician. or I used to be. I played the piano for 14 years, violin for 12. I used to win competitions for that shiz and I was the concert mistress and the choir pres at my high school. I'm a pretty decent singer and I've been in over 15 musicals and plays.  5) Least favorite book you’ve read? A Story of England by Michael Wood. You guys, I had to read it for study abroad and let me tell you, I probably "read" 15 pages of it and then mooched off of my housemates when we took tests. I'm a terrible person.. IT WAS AN AWFUL BOOK I COULDN'T DO IT 6) A goal you’ve accomplished? Pretty damn excited about graduating in April. I can't believe I've actually made it through college, you know?  7) Favorite reality TV show? I literally hate reality shows except for ANTM. It's my guilty pleasure. I prefer a story to chick fights. 8) Best New Year’s Eve? I have literally never had a good New Years Eve or even any semblance of a New Years kiss.  9) What are you most passionate about? Self care. Empowering women. My right to say no or to stand up when people are talking shit or making fun of me. I used to be a huge doormat and I just don't put up with it anymore.  10) What did you want to be when you grew up when you were little? "an artist, a poet, a writer, a dancer, and an actress." I had big dreams guys. I held onto those dreams until my second year of college.  11) Something you’re saving up for or want to save up for? I wish I could say travel or something cool, but honestly I just want to save up for my own place post-grad where I can have a dog. That's all I want in the next year of my life: graduate, find a job, and get a fricking dog.

1. i have 5 siblings but they were mostly moved out before I grew up, so I often exhibit behaviors of an only child 

2. I've tried writing a novel so many times that it makes me cry. so many of them are just complete shite i kind of gave up until I'm older and have more stuff to write about. so now i just blog and sometimes write angsty poetry. 

3. caroandthediamonds is my bestie and we gonna be roommates in a month <3

4. I fricking love Pirates of Penzance. Unironically. I can sing every word and sometimes when I get the apartment to myself I just belt it out. I always borrow my sister's PoP sweater and she gets so mad but I LOVE IT so much i wish she'd let me keep it

5. I love my sister more than anyone in this entire world and I would absolutely die for her.

Hermione Granger and Lucius Malfoy

Hermione Granger: What is your favorite book, how many times have you read it, and why do you love it?

After taking a few minutes to think about it, I guess I would have to say that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I have loved my copy of the book so much that it's only in one piece because I've taped it up like crazy. If I had to take a guess, I'd say I've read it...50-ish times? I think I love it so much because it taught me the importance of friendship and hard work. It also taught me that during dark times in life, we need to hold tight to those that we love to support each other.

Lucius Malfoy: What is your most prized possession?

This might be silly but I'd probably say that my books are my most prized possessions. I've had legit worry dreams where my house is on fire and I can't carry all of my books out of the house in time. I've told my friends about them and most of the time they say things like "You could always replace them," but it just wouldn't be the same for me.
