kennedy_baker No words can express how shocked and devastated I am with the way that things ended for me. I felt it in my soul before the pain ever reached my foot. While my career may have come to a close too soon, the Gator gymnastics team still has so much more to accomplish. I believe in each and every single one of my teammates, and I know that they have my back💙 There aren’t enough ways to express the gratitude I have towards gymnastics, and I am forever grateful for all of the lessons I’ve learned through the sport and how it has molded me into the person I am today. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Texas Dreams and Gator Nation. From US national team to Olympic Trials to an 11x collegiate All American and a national championship, I truly accomplished more than I ever thought I was capable of. Thank you to all who supported me throughout the years, I see and hear every single person. I love you guys so much❤️

Update on Kennedy: Her “injury” on bars was actually her leg cramping up--she had been sick earlier this week and had “insufficient nutrients.” She probably could have done floor or beam but they played it safe to keep her healthy for the season (x)
