Brea had been completely shocked when Kennedy had showed up at her three months ago, but without question she let her in. She knew what it was like to have the pressure of the world on your shoulders, what it was like to crack under that same pressure. Brea had done it in the public eye, the drugs, underage drinking, stripping on pool tables and getting arrested, her younger sister seemed to do it all behind closed doors. She was trying her hardest not to pry into Kennedy’s life, she hadn’t seen the girl since before the nineteen year old was even a teenager. Their parents had even forced Kennedy and their other sister Hollynn not to talk to Brea, changing their numbers and making sure that Brea couldn’t influence the two most important people in her life. Now though, with the way the teenager was acting, Brea was scared to death. She was so tiny and frail, and the twenty seven year old had no idea what had caused the downwards spiral her baby sister was experiencing. Brea finally caved and did what she never thought she would, she called her parents. It had been over six years since she had spoken to them, but she needed to know what was going on with Kennedy. While her father refused to talk to her, Brea’s mother informed her of the nineteen year olds eating disorder, explaining that she had disgraced their family name again, just like Brea had. She also said she’d ship the rest of Kennedy’s things, that she was Brea’s problem now. It left the blonde disgusted and heartbroken for her sister, but she made a promise to herself that she would take care of her. That she would help her get better. Tiptoeing up the stairs and into the room she had made up for Kennedy, Brea laid beside the sleeping girl, snuggling close. As the girls eyes slowly opened, Brea looked over at her, a sad smile on her face as she grabbed her hand, “we’re going to get you better Ken, I promise” she whispered, laying her head against her younger sisters.
