                       *&& || Bubbles, steaming hot water, the quiet sounds of music, scented candles leaving the faint smell of lavender behind, all pulled together with a glass of red wine between her fingers. It was the best way to let relaxation sink into her delicate skin. That may have been why she was so drawn into her bliss with her head leaning back against the wall and hues closed that she hadn't noticed the other had entered until she felt the movement of the water as he started climbing in. ❝Excuse you,❞ Devin's voice immediately poured from her lips as hues opened to find the other, body moving to sit up a bit more. ❝You're horrible at letting me take baths alone, you know that?❞ Yet words were filled with a playful tone more than anything. Barely a hint of annoyance in her voice.

don’t trust them, don’t let them get to you, inside your head. these words replayed in maya’s head whenever she was at her best friend’s place, given; she haven’t been friends very long with the other female but she loved her like a sister, but she couldn’t help it the moment her eyes followed her older sibling when they walked past their sister’s room that day, it’d been a few weeks since she noticed the look they gave her, it was clear that she was curious about them, so clear that the other female sat her down & talked to her about them & said those exact same words & maya wanted to respect her wishes. but she was only human & she had a crush & she didn’t know how it happened that they got involved & maya was always aware that they could be caught at any moment but she didn’t seem to mind; she wasn’t in love but she was attached & she wasn’t going to stop. dark eyes opening as the sunlight hit her face, finding herself intertwined in the sheets & her limbs laced with the older’s put a smile on her face, one of her hands reaching to brush the pad of one slim & perfectly manicured long finger over the sharpness of their jaw, flashes of the night before making her tanned cheeks blush as she leaned forward to press her lips to their neck to wake them up.

▒ ღ — ALTHOUGH IT WASN'T a steady gig, modeling seemed to be working out well for the tiny blonde when she needed some extra cash and didn't want to ask help from her parents. her friend was the one who suggested it to her and she needed to overcome her fear of being in front of the camera if she wanted to be in Broadway one day. however, the moment she was in front of the camera and the photographer began directing her, she suddenly forgot what she was all scared of. just letting herself do one pose to another--smiling, pouting, a serious look. when someone behind the photographer called for a break, tiffany finally straightened up from her position as she felt completely at ease now. approaching the man, she offered him a bright smile as she asked if she could look at the pictures.

Elizabeth always found herself coming alive in the colder months. She loved wearing sweaters, thick leggings, boots, heavy coats. She loved feeling warm cups in cold hands. Her social media reflected this love in the form of pictures of coffee, fallen leaves, new scarves she bought. 

Multicolored leaves crunched underneath the heels of her black ankle boots as she trudged through the city, cardboard drink holder clasped in her hands, a paper bag dangling in her fingers. Autumn mornings had that slight bite to her nose, it was finally cool enough to look fashionable in a leather jacket without wanting to feel like she was burning alive by noon. The rich chocolate/coffee combo was all she could smell as she entered the building, shooting the doorman one of her winning smiles. It was startling, truly, how the first few months of her relationship with Bryson went better than the first few months of past relationships with exes. Breakfast was always a nice surprise. 

She stood in the ornate elevator, holding the drink holder with one hand and stuck the bag into her teeth, careful none of her lipstick got on to the bag, and pulled a set of keys out of her jacket pocket in time to slide it into the lock and twist for the penthouse level. Elizabeth took a moment to fix the mess of honey-colored curls around her shoulders in the mirror reflected in the doors and strode into the apartment when they opened.

“I brought us both coffee and bagels,” she announced to the still apartment, setting the carrier on the bar and looping her purse on to one of the chairs. “Bryson?”

‘ do you like what i did to my hair ? ’ rhiannon asks, smile on her lips as she moves her head to the sidesso the light reflects on the colour & he’s able to see it better. ‘ i was thinking about cutting it instead but, i know you’d miss it long too much, or else how would you be able to pull on it when you‘re hitting it from behind ? ’ rhiannon jokes, of course that’s not the only reason she keeps it long, but it’s one of the main why she does it

‘ no. ’ is all he says. ‘ absolutely not. ’ a chuckle falls from his lips as he closes his book. ‘ sorry darling, you‘re going to have to wait until i’m finished, just like everybody else. ’ he knew that he was being a little unfair to the female but he got slightly insufferable with his writing. ‘ c’mon, i’m almost done, not more than a month & i promise you‘ll be the first to read it. ’ dean promises, he knows she’ll keep pushing for a day or two, but with what he’s been working on, he knows it’ll be worth the wait. ‘ you‘re gonna love it, just give it time. ’
