What I get to do for a living.

This job can be highly stressful to us staff. We get scratched, bruised and scraped constantly with the occasional bites. We pour our hearts, sweat and tears into these animals through every moment of their time here with us. Though with moments like this, when a shy and sweet pup gives their trust to us, it makes it worth all that.

So I was at work today and there was this giant mastiff (he was pretty aggressive and had a heavy duty shock collar on) when I’d get close to the kennel door he would bark until he frothed at the mouth. So of course me being me I sat at the door and serenaded him with Taylor swift (I was singing ofcs) until he got so tired of the bs he just laid down.

Idk if it was my spite or the need to get him to like me but he wasn’t trying to eat me through the door anymore.
