During the multitude of combat sequences in The Wolf Among Us, the sheer viciousness and tenacity of other fairy tale creatures is demonstrated in full, allowing the brutality of Bigby to be a bit more justified, as it takes so much to make one of their own back down and stop fighting. This also allows the game to reward the player with these sequences by often allowing them to choose how they play out- after all, while Bigby is often in mortal danger, he can take much more punishment than the average person, allowing the player some wiggle room to see just how brutal his actions can go, depending on the circumstances.
