Japan U-20 National Team (old lineup) [Blue Lock ⚽️]

Oh, I couldn't help myself. I love these guys so much and I'm so sad there's so little content with them. I'm so desperate for any kind of content with the guys besides Aiku and Sendo. I can count on one hand the number of people who do something with them. It's time to join in. From now on, I'll be writing about them from time to time, too.
Headcanons time! 🕺
This time I wrote some random thoughts that only came to my head while I was playing idv. Anyways
• Wakatsuki has a very soft body. No joke, his skin is velvety, and he himself is very soft, which makes hugging him incredibly pleasant and relaxing. Unfortunately, he doesn’t like hug and being hugged, and even if he does hug someone, it won’t be very long or tight and honestly, that’s sad.
• Darai is perfectly shaved everywhere, while Niou, on the contrary, is the hairiest in the whole team.
• Teru is very tactile. He’s the one who becomes a helping hand for newcomers on the team. He’s easy to talk to, friendly, and quite sociable. He and Neru are similar, but unlike Teru, Neru is a bit shy at first when it comes to taking newcomers under his wing.
• Haru has a mental connection with Itsuki. They don’t need to talk, they understand each other perfectly without words.
• Unconsciously, Aiku feels as a father figure for many on the team, both the main lineup and the bench.
• Kento has Chinese roots.
• No one knows how Itsuki made it into the starting lineup.
• Neru has a huge sweet tooth. Almost everyone on the team has a soft spot for him and is ready to spoil him like a child.
• Fukaku has authority within the team. Many consider him intimidating and strict, but in reality, he’s just scared and shy.
• Before going to sleep, Haru watches mukbangs with extremely greasy food.
• Sendou’s biggest desire is to know everything people say about him (rumors, chats where his name appears, any casual conversations) even if it possible can hurt his feelings.
• Teru likes leopard print, but he’s not a gyaru.
• Neru plays Stardew Valley and romances Sam.
• Unexpectedly, Chou and Teru get along really well. Chou doesn’t really like energetic people, but somehow he and Teru found common ground.
• Itsuki plays Identity V and mains the "Little girl" (Memory).
• Sendou tried getting into cosplay, but his first cosplays got heavily hated on, so he quit.
• Kittens help Niou relieve stress.
• Niou dreams of becoming a father. He wants one boy and two girls.
• Darai is into beadwork.
• At some point in his life, Niou was obsessed with the “alpha wolf pack” aesthetic.
• Aiku secretly buys alcohol without any issues or showing ID. I mean...have you seen his face?
• Neru is into femboys (not in weird way) and has even thought about trying it himself.
• Chou actually has poor eyesight. He needs glasses but refuses to admit it, insisting he sees just fine.
• Sendou gets manicures and pedicures but is embarrassed to admit it because he’s afraid it’s seen as “gay behavior.”
• If Aiku confessed his feelings to Niou, Niou would agree to try dating him.
• Chou has a tattoo that no one knows about and no one ever will.
• Teru is into monster trucks.
• Itsuki does the bare minimum in everything just enough to meet the requirements while doing as little as possible.
• Neru has a hyperfixation on peaches. He loves anything with peaches.
• Win or lose, after every match they (whole team) gather somewhere together to have a good time.
• Niou will definitely get both his arms tattooed from wrist to elbow, full sleeves. Most likely he’ll decide to do it around the age of 23–25.
• In the Neo Egoist League, if Neru had chosen England, he would’ve become very close friends with Agi.
That's all, idv made me sick today so I stopped here.
If you guys forgot who is who then catch this one clue:
To be honest, there’s a lot going on in this match. I’m not saying that as a bad thing. It’s just that the match is super fast-paced. It’s sort of hard to get a concrete review for such a fast-paced show, but I’ll do my best to talk about the things that stood out to me.
This match is to show what the Blue Lock project can do. The most important aspect of Blue Lock is chemical reaction. The reason why Ego chose these 11 players as the main ones is because of the chemical reaction each member can produce with each other and it’s actually working well. It’s because of the chemical reaction that Nagi was able to land the team’s first goal against the U-20. It’s because of chemical reaction that Rin is able to shine with the help of Isagi as the two have the most chemistry on the team. It’s also thanks to chemical reaction that other players are resonating with each other and themselves.
They’re the opposite of the U-20 team which is mainly about Sae. Sae, unlike his brother, does not have chemical reactions with his teammates. That’s the major difference. Even if both brothers are aloof, Rin can work with others while Sae cannot. There’s also the beef between the brothers. Whatever it is, it does seem like on Sae’s end, he wants Rin to not be in his shadow, but given his aloof personality, he’s probably bad at expressing this.
Other Blue Lock members get their time to shine as well. I really liked the teamwork between Karasu, Otoya and Chigiri, showing off that the practice match as Team B helped a lot. I also liked how Niko gets his spotlight too. He’s the shortest starting player on the field right now, but he makes up for his lack of height and physicality by being analytical. I also liked Aryu saving the team by using his long legs to block the goal. Very glam indeed.
I have this feeling that Shidou is going to be swapped in next episode, meaning someone in the U-20 team will get benched. Why do I get the feeling it’s Sendou? I also have this feeling that someone in the BL11 will get swapped too. I wonder who…
Okay, more voice actor trivia for those who care. Kitsunesato, the one with the orange striped hair is voiced by Gakuto Kajiwara. He’s been in several anime I’ve watched and am watching. You might know him as Allen from Paradox Live. He’s also in A Terrified Teacher At Ghoul School as Amaaki Abe, the MC Haruaki’s twin brother. Then, there’s Wakatsuki, the one with the eyebags. He’s voiced by Taito Ban, who you might know as Sung Jinwoo from Solo Leveling. Next is Chou, the normal looking one with black hair. He’s voiced by Jun Kasama, whom I’m not too familiar with, but he was in Haikyuu as Aran.
The additional time was hilarious. Everyone was acting extremely weird and it’s all because it was a dream Bachira had for three days straight. Here I thought I had crazy dreams, but his are putting mine to shame.
How are you liking the match so far? Do you think the benched members will show up next episode?
The U-20 team, along with promotional videos for both teams, were unveiled by the official website of the Blue Lock vs. U-20 Japan television anime. The 14-episode television animation premiered on TV Asahi's IMAnimation programming block on October 5 at 11:30 p.m.

So, I said I'm going continue? I did. Today, while drawing Haru fanart, some thoughts came to my mind, and I'd like to share them with you. Not much this time, but still.
Part 2
Also take a look at Part 1
• Wakatsuki regularly falls asleep somewhere during breaks. Literally. After training, when everyone goes on break, Itsuki separates from the group to find any quiet, secluded spot and just passes out there. He sleeps like a log even in the most uncomfortable positions because he has achieved sleep zen. Because of this, he constantly sleeps through the end of breaks and doesn’t show up, so the whole team ends up searching the entire building for him.
(Later, he’ll be forbidden from going anywhere alone. Itsuki must always have someone accompanying him. Most often, it’s Neru.)
• Teru and Kento often hang out together. Despite their different personalities, they get along really well. Teru often tries to persuade Chou to go with him to his hometown just to hang out.
• Teru likes traveling by train.
• Chou has a strange attraction to boats. He really likes canoes, and the idea of moving across water on a raft is very odd but intrigues him.
(Because of this, he’s thinking about going to Venice at least once in his life.)
• Haru often hits his head on doorframes and generally bumps into things a lot. For example, stubbing his little toe on something.
• Neru loves aquariums, dolphinariums, and circuses. This kind of entertainment reminds him of his childhood, but he still visits these places with excitement.
• Darai is a comfort figure for many on the team. Many find him a bit eccentric, but they respect him, his path, and his beliefs. Despite his mental differences from others, he is still a reliable person for many.
• When Aiku first joined the team, everyone treated him with a bit of skepticism and caution, but also with interest. Aiku integrated into the group pretty quickly thanks to his natural qualities.
• Fukaku can communicate in sign language. It’s easier for him than verbal conversations.
• Teru is currently in the process of figuring out his orientation.
• Sendou has a second account that he presents as his own die-hard fan. When he wants to argue with haters but doesn’t want to look pathetic or damage his reputation, he switches to his second account, where he feels free and can argue as harshly as he wants.
(He’s also his own fastest, most passionate, and most active fan. Whenever he posts something, he immediately switches to his second account to comment, like, etc., first.)
• Niou is one of the most loyal guys on the entire Japan U-20 roster.
• Neru likes simple and cute sandbox type or life simulation games. For example: Stardew Valley, Tomodachi Life, The Sims, Roblox, and so on.
• On “lazy weekends,” Aiku and Sendou play Brookhaven, but then Sendou drags Aiku into Dress to Impress.
• Niou wears wolf-themed boxers.
• Chou still prefers using a flip phone. It’s more convenient for him. He’s a bit old-fashioned when it comes to technology, whereas Neru is the most tech-savvy in the team.
• Itsuki’s unattainable dream is to try being a bear and fall asleep in a den.
Again, little clue for you, guys. If you forgot who is who.
