I hope your valentine's day is amazing and filled with loads of love. I drew two drawings for you. The first is of kent and snowy having some cute cuddle time and the second is a rough drawing of a memory kent has of when him and jack used to play together. From your valentine Creatingdoodles

Some Snowy/Kent fluff for you! 💙 I’m sorry I had to write this in a bus and couldn’t get it beta-ed before the deadline, but I’ll post an edited version on AO3 in a few days. I hope you like it, I loved writing for this pairing!
Kent was peeking out through the curtains of Snowy’s apartment. Heavy snow was falling and spiralling through the air illuminated by the street lamps. He was mesmerized.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” Snowy said, while gently wrapping his arms around Kent’s waist from behind. He rested his head on his shoulder, admiring the view as well.
“Yes. I’ve missed it. The snow.“
“Oh? I thought you were well acclimated to whatever hell Vegas’ climate is?” Snowy asked, amused.
“Well, yes, I am, indeed. And I’ll have you know that at least, us Vegas people don’t risk losing a limb anytime we go outside.” Kent retaliated.
“Chirp chirp chirp, I know you say that only because you’re jealous of our winter.”
Kent chuckled. “Maybe. I’m from New York after all. And I spent most of my childhood and teenage years in Canada.”
They fall quiet after that. The silence only disturbed by Kit’s gentle purring where she laid in front of a radiator.
“I’m glad you were able to come.”
“A bye-week miracle.” Kent replied.
“Hm. The real miracle is Kit forgiving you for making her fly all the way to Providence.”
“I think it’s only because you have very nice heaters. And because she loves me.”
Snowy laughed.
“Don’t laugh! It’s true. Isn’t it my princess?” Kent cooed while approaching her. Kit flopped on her back, showing off her belly. “See! It means she trusts and loves me!”
“Okay, I’ll take it.” Snowy smiled fondly. He found Kent’s love for Kit adorable. “So you miss Snow?” He said, smirking.
“Tsk. I can’t miss you, we’re in the same room, silly. No, but seriously, my fondest childhood memories are related to snow.”
“Aw, you want to tell me?” Snowy asked, softly.
“Well, the first day of heavy snow during the school holidays, my mom and I had a special routine for the evening, so we could enjoy and celebrate it even if she worked that day. We would build a fort in front of a window, and she would make homemade hot chocolate, she would always warn me to not spill it and that it was hot, and I would reply ‘I know it’s hot, it’s a *hot* chocolate’, and she would laugh.” Kent was blushing, he wasn’t used to share such intimate things, but Snowy made him feel safe, he trusted him, he wouldn’t laugh.
“That’s a nice memory. You know what? How about we do just that? Since, you know, you won’t get much of both snows for a while.” He clarified. It was his turn to blush.
“I thought we were doing movie night? Isn’t it your sacred tradition on bye-week?” Kent asked surprised.
“Yes, it is, but we could do both? Create our own tradition? We could build a fort in front of the big window, I could set up my laptop in front of it as well, so we can have the movie and the snow.” Snowy sounded enthusiastic.
“You’re sure? I could make the hot chocolate. The legend says that I make a mean hot chocolate.”
“Yeah! I’m calling dibs on the movie choice, though.”
“Okay, deal.” Kent said as he came close to Snowy and kissed him on the lips.
They started working on the fort together, jostling each other playfully and claiming all the pillows of the house, plus two big sheets to create a cozy atmosphere.
While Snowy was setting up the movie, Kent was in the kitchen, busying himself with the hot chocolate. He poured it into two of Snowy’s collection of travel mugs, which was a sore spot as the goalie easily had fifteen of them and Kent could never resist chirping him about it.
They cuddled close together, just as the opening of Bolt started. Snowy liked animated movies, and Kent indulged him because Snowy indulged Kent’s love of cartoons just as much.
The hot chocolate didn’t last long, Kent hadn’t lie when he had told he could make a very good one. Just on the right side of heavy and creamy, and not too sweet.
Kent was half on top of Snowy, one arm over his chest and his chin resting over his shoulder. Their hands were laced together, and Kit had crept up to snuggle close on Snowy’s stomach.
“She likes you too.” Kent murmured. Snowy felt warm inside, with his boyfriend right against him, and the approval of his cat. He loved the both of them so much his heart ached. He kissed the top of Kent’s head. “And I love you.” He said. “Me too.” Kent replied, sleepily and content.
Kent fall asleep before the end of the movie, but Snowy was happy just to have him by his side, and when the credits rolled, he carefully carried him out of the fort and to the bed. He fed Kit one last time before joining Kent, who was still sound asleep. They slept peacefully, and dawn found them tangled together, Kit at their feet.
Kent slid effortlessly behind the wheel of his Porsche, slamming the door behind him a little too hard. It was winter, but the windowless locker room felt hot and claustrophobic, and all Kent wanted to do was leave, drive away, push all the microphones being shoved in his face and run. Jack was just another player, and Kent had been doing this longer.

“I don’t see why you’re on my ass; we won the game didn’t we?”
“What you did was fucking reckless. What if you got injured?!” Coach Matheson paced the empty hall, stopping every few steps to rub at his temples.
“I made a call. Sure it was risky, but you know how I play. I’m captain for a fucking reason, aren’t I?”
“Parson.”
Kent sighed.
“Don’t do it again.”

Snow began to fall softly on his windshield, knocking Kent out of his daze. He couldn’t seem to remember just how long he’d been sitting there, but the parking lot was deserted and the gray-blue sky had begun it’s descent from peach, to pink, to navy.
Nearly deserted, Kent corrected himself. A beautiful ’68 Camaro was still parked a few rows in front of him. The snow made it difficult to tell, but he was pretty sure it was empty. It either belonged to a rich car-enthusiast hockey-fan, or just another player.
Same thing, Kent thought.
He didn’t recognize it as any of the Aces’, but he’d been a lot more distant recently. The little details had started slipping him by more and more.
A few moments later Kent was startled by the sound of someone tapping at his window. The snow had formed a thin blanket over the glass, and Kent found himself peeking through the hole left by the person’s finger.
“It might be easier if you roll your window down,” said a low voice Kent was sure he’d heard before.
“Did I leave my high beams on or do you just want an autograph?” Kent said as he pressed the switch imbedded in the door.
“Neither,” Snowy was standing an inch away, one arm in a sling, the other resting on the roof of Kent’s Porsche. His cool blue eyes betrayed the tone of his voice.
“No offense, but I don’t fight off the ice,” Kent’s eyes drifted to the sling, then back up to the scruff on Snowy’s face and the thin cut that ran along his cheekbone.
“I’m not here to fight,” Snowy shook his head, “no matter how much I want to smash your pretty little face in.”
“Admittedly that’s one of the better decisions you’ve made since turning down the Aces,” Kent laughed. “Sorry about your arm, and your… that,” Kent gestured vaguely to Snowy’s cheek. “Wait, did you just call me pretty? Last time I checked I was a ‘fucking cockstain.’”
The snow was beginning to drift into the car, landing softly on the arm of Kent’s coat before melting into little droplets. Snowy lowered his gaze and took a deep breath.
“What are you playing at, Parson?” He said after a moment of silence. “I’m not one to give a shit, but-“
“I was fucking reckless, I know, now if you’ll excuse me-”
“You’re a good player.”
“What?”
“You heard me. You’re a good player and a great captain. The Aces are shitheads at the best of times, but facing off against Zimmermann, well... you play like an asshole but you feel more… real. Less like a rock star more like a person.”
“Was that supposed to be a compliment?”
“Take it however you want,” Snowy took his arm off the roof and began walking towards the Camaro.
“Wait!” Kent called, throwing open the door and jogging to catch up. “Let me buy you dinner,” he said. He was walking backwards against the wind. They were roughly the same height, but next to Snowy Kent gave off the distinct impression of a high school boy asking his crush out on a date. He liked feeling like this, softer, as though all his hard edges had slowly whittled away. It was good for him. Some days he found it hard to remember that light existed beyond his four walls. “I kind of owe you one.”
“Dinner? With you?” Snowy’s voice was incredulous, but a smile was already forming at the corner of his mouth. “Is the great Kent Parson really asking the enemy on a date?”
“Who said anything about a date? Let me buy you dinner first,” Kent stopped walking and Snowy nearly ploughed into him. “Is that a yes?”
“That’s a maybe.”
“Can I maybe pick you up at eight?” Kent couldn’t help but notice the warmth behind Snowy’s eyes.
“Well I might be staying on West Flamingo, 4381. Be sharp.”
“I might be,” Kent flashed his press-winning smile and gave Snowy a short nod before stepping out of the way and heading back to his Porsche.
_X_
Kent nearly had a heart attack when he rolled up on West Flamingo that night. He’d seen Snowy in a suit before, but this? Dark hair swept back and only a hint of stubble made his heart-rate quicken like he was in the middle of a shoot-out.
“Wow,” Kent said once Snowy was comfortably in the passenger seat.
“This isn’t the first time you’ve seen me off the ice,” Snowy laughed.
“In this context?” Kent bit his lip in the least subtle way possible.
“Shut up and drive Parson, I guess you don’t look too bad yourself.”
“You guess? Boy, I’m fucking killing it,” Kent gestured intently at the outfit he’d picked out: a little Gucci, a little Armani, and a fuck ton of hairspray to smooth his cowlick into submission.
The restaurant was twenty minutes away, and a large portion of that time was spent trying to determine whether their teasing was just chirping or if it had crossed the border into flirting territory.
_X_
The restaurant was beautiful, a tiny hole-in-the-wall Italian place that specialized in the art of pasta. And it was an art, as far as Kent was concerned. Giancarlo’s, as it was called, was the most popular with the locals and the hipsters that did their research. Kent knew Giancarlo personally, and called that afternoon to reserve a private table.
“So, if you could have dinner with any historical figure, who’d’ya choose?” Kent said as he picked absentmindedly at his fettuccini.
“Any historical figure?”
“Any.”
“Barbra Streisand,” Snowy said without hesitation.
“You know she’s not dead, right?”
“You didn’t say they had to be dead!”
“Well they can’t exactly be historical if they’re alive now can they?”
“What, you’ve never seen Yentl? Barbra made her own history, and if you can’t appreciate that then I guess it’s all up to me.”
“What a hard life you lead,” Kent said sarcastically.
“It’s not all sunshine and rainbows… you should know that better than most,” Snowy’s eyes momentarily flitted to Kent’s lips. They both fell quiet.
“I have a feeling we’re not talking about Barbra Streisand anymore,” Kent said after a moment. Snowy ran his tongue along his upper teeth. He looked like he wanted to say something; he just wasn’t sure how to phrase it.
“You and Jack…”
“Snow…”
“C’mon it’s been killing me,” Snowy’s face was genuine, but Kent had long since forgotten what it felt like to trust someone.
“It’s not my place,” he said.
Snowy sighed, “Fair enough, I shouldn’t have pushed.” Silence fell between them again. The restaurant buzzed around them, and it felt as though they were in a bubble in the center of a garlic scented ocean. They finished their meal in the muted din of restaurant noise, only half aware of the clinking glasses, sparkling laughter and droning conversation going on around them.

The city street was busy with half-drunk party-goers. The neon signs that littered the downtown core, advertising a chance, a dream, a lifestyle, didn’t reach this far out, but every once in a while a sleazy motel offering its vacancy scattered its fluorescent light over the pavement. It wasn’t particularly late, but even during the day Vegas maintained a surrealistic feel that was unlike anything Kent had ever experienced.
“I’m sorry if I ruined things,” Snowy said, voice soft. “I know we didn’t idle on the subject long, but I shouldn’t have brought ‘em up in the first place.”
“It’s alright, Snow,” Kent laughed.
“No, I mean it. Who the hell asks about tabloid gossip on a first date anyway? Sure-fire way to lose your chance at a second.”
“What makes you think there won’t be a second date?” Kent asked.
“Will there?” Snowy raised a questioning eyebrow.
“Maybe,” Kent said. They walked some more in silence. “It’s tempting though. There are so many players in the NHL, and you think, at least one in ten, right? At least one in ten has got to be.”
“I’m sure they are,” Snowy said.
“Then why hasn’t anyone come out yet?”
“Why haven’t you?”
“It’s not that simple,” Kent shook his head, “I could ask you the same question.”
“It’s not that simple,” Snowy mimicked.
“What are we afraid of?” Kent said after a moment, more to himself than anything. The car was still a few blocks away, but he stopped in his tracks, urging Snowy to look at him. “The world is changing, progressing, we’re more open now than we’ve been in the past two thousand years, but I still reserve a private table just in case someone sees me on a date with a man. I’m still forced back into the closet by every goddamn hockey coach that thinks a vital part of me will ‘make for bad PR.’ If I want to kiss my date in the middle of the fucking street, I can’t!”
“Why not?”
“Snow,” Kent said tentatively, as though he were weighing his options. “What if someone-”
“Why. Not?” Snowy pressed, not taking his eyes off of Kent. He stepped forward, cupping the side of Kent’s face with his good hand. They were in the middle of the sidewalk, only inches apart. Snowy raised his eyebrows, asking for permission. All or nothing.
“Fuck it,” Kent said, wrapping his arms around Snowy’s waist and pressing their lips together as though he had been living for this one moment. Snowy melted into Kent’s rhythm. He was a fast learner, and it didn’t take him long to master this game. When they finally broke apart, they were breathing heavily against each other’s skin.
“You kiss like you play hockey, Parson,” Snowy chuckled.
“Tired already?” Kent laughed, “we haven’t even finished the first period yet.”
happy kent/snowy headcanons because i love these idiots so much
kent is constantly stealing snowy’s clothes and while snowy isn’t that much bigger than him, his clothes still fit different on kent bc snowy is very buff and his torso does the dorito thing so his shirts are a little loose on kent and kent’s hoe ass loves it
they can literally make each other laugh with one (1) look. it’s so infuriating and no one ever knows what they’re laughing about it’s terrible
they have a lot of inside jokes but they’re all stupid shit like “egg butt” and if one of them says the phrase they’re both doubled over in laughter for at least 10 minutes
constantly showing memes to each other
when they’re visiting each other they spend hours on their phones with the occasional “haha look at this post” “pft nice”
this is what they call “hanging out” and no one else gets it-- “interact with each other! talk to each other!!” bitty rants at jack one night after a double date. jack doesn’t get it either.
more hcs under the cut this is way too long aahhahha
snowy def teaches kent how to do makeup & what colors work best with his eyes; “brown makes your eyes look bluer,” he explains, hovering over kent with an eyeshadow brush, “and purple makes them look greener. also black brings out literally every eye color so you can’t go wrong there.” kent nods but tbh he’s not listening bc snowy looks rly good with makeup on
snowy is obsessed with kent’s freckles and definitely tries to count them all and this always descends into a kissing war where snowy kisses every freckle he can find and kent laughs and squirms and says that he’s an idiot but 100% loves it and never wants him to stop
kent loves snowy’s playoff beard and snowy loves kent’s even tho they hate their own beards
“it makes me look like santa!!” kent protests when snowy won’t stop petting it. “hot santa tho,” snowy grins, and continues to pet it.
they totally practice together whenever they’re visiting and they’re both... really fucking good at hockey so practicing together only makes them better and their respective teams thank them for it
it’s always really intense bc kent can’t get nearly every puck in like he’s used to (snowy’s better than the aces goalie and he’s annoyed about it) and snowy can’t block nearly every puck (but it’s not like he’s used to that tho because, y’know, jack) so they’re both frustrated and competitive and intense and it gets Real
also this always devolves into making out in the locker room while they’re still sweaty and gross
they’re disgusting
they’re both shamelessly into pop music but kent’s more of an early 2000s pop guy whereas snowy loves like, ariana grande and carly rae jepsen and demi lovato
“no album is ever gonna be better than oops i did it again so why does anyone even fucking try,” kent argues one night over ice cream. “idk man, ariana grande’s latest album is a fucking masterpiece,” snowy says. kent huffs. “nothing’s better than britney.”
snowy lives in an apartment with poots and another rookie named nando (real name cesar hernandez & the falcs keep coming up with nando’s chicken-related nicknames for him; “we’re not even british!!” he says, exasperated. do the falcs care? no.)
anyway snowy lives with poots and nando; he used to just live with another rookie when they were both new to the team but the guy got traded which was rly sad but then the gms were like “u should keep living with rookies it’s good for them, gets them acclimated to adult life” (snowy: ?? i barely count as an adult idk what im doing lol) but to their dismay the apartment is CONSTANTLY a mess
when kent visits he’s like “oh god you know you can hire someone to clean this place right. like you’re all so fucking rich if you cant figure out how to clean a fuckin apartment just hire someone dumbasses” poots is like “u can do that??? :OO”
poots & nando are probably snowy’s best friends on the team and swoops is kent’s best friend on the aces so whenever they can the 5 of them hang out together and it’s great
poots is more of a dog person but nando LOVES kit and loves when kent comes to stay in providence during the off season bc kit is just! there! to pet and play with! and surprisingly she loves him too and always sleeps in his room & snowy and kent are like “the fuck she’s abandoning us, her dads who love and care for her”
snowy is like, legitimately good at video games. kent loves video games but is only mediocre at them but no, snowy is just really fucking good. he spends all his free time crushing poots’s ass at smash he knows all the tricks he’s undefeated
snowy visits kent in vegas and kent’s like “oh dude we should play smash! i’ve been playing a lot lately and like not to brag but i’m pretty good” little does he know snowy will fucking obliterate him into the goddamn ground rip kent parson he was killed dead by snowy’s superior video game skillz
def the types to laugh during sex which is nice for kent bc with jack sex was always really intense (rly good, but rly intense) and with snowy it’s really good but he also doesn’t feel weird about being a little awkward or dorky and they’re confident enough to laugh at themselves and each other
snowy wishes he had his life together enough to care for an animal but compensates by pouring all his love into kit whenever he sees her
kent has no attention span for reading but can watch hours upon hours of tv or movies so he’s seen. so many things. and whenever snowy asks for tv recs kent’s like “oh man!! so first you should watch this show, i just finished it it’s really good and this other one i think you’d really like--” and just rambles forever and snowy’s just like [heart eyes] bc his bf is really cute when he’s talking about stuff he loves
kent’s definitely seen at least a few anime shows bc his sister forced him to during breaks; so far soul eater is his fave
both of them are from upstate new york; snowy from rochester and kent from syracuse (they both have an obnoxious accent and it’s not that bad around their teams but when they’re together they’re Very New York)
snowy was raised on the disney channel but kent’s mom never had enough for cable so he watched a lot of pbs and caught up on all the popular shows when he hung out with friends so he doesn’t have this huge attachment to 90′s/2000s disney shows like other people his age do
snowy isn’t one of those assholes who’s like “oh my GOD i CANNOT BELIEVE you haven’t seen this show/movie!!!!!!! EVERYONE has seen it!!!” he’s just like “oh man we should watch it sometime” and this is how they end up marathoning sister, sister and lizzie mcguire and the amanda show
at first on kent’s bad days he has trouble saying what he needs but under his asshole exterior snowy’s a very patient and kind dude so when kent texts him “not having a great night, prob won’t skype. sry” he just replies “that’s a-ok, i’m here for whatever you need, just let me know if there’s anything i can do” [16 heart emojis]
after a while kent starts being more comfortable with talking about what’s wrong or how he’s feeling but talking isn’t always the answer so snowy gets really good at sensing when kent’s not doing well and texts him increasingly ugly selfies or snaps of him following poots around the apartment narrating everything he does or stupid memes or stories of something rly dumb marty did & kent appreciates it more than he could ever say
kent is a sad drunk and snowy is a flirty drunk and it works bc snowy cheers kent up and kent makes snowy stop being annoying
snowy is the bf who is Really Extra about how in love he is but also Really Embarrassed about showing affection so it usually goes like
snowy: [blushing hard] you’re fuckin. cute. god. ew. i love you
kent: u ok dude
snowy is a really good listener and really non-judgy so a lot of times kent will find himself saying shit he didn’t really plan on sharing anytime soon but snowy’s just sitting there listening to him and nodding and being like “man, yeah, that sounds really hard” and just. affirming him and validating him so he just word-vomits at him bc snowy makes him feel really safe
tbh snowy probably knows kent better than literally anyone else, even jack, even his family, bc snowy’s heard the whole story of kent’s past & illness and like-- he gets sleepy morning breath kent and fancy hockey event kent and gameday kent and party kent and lazy day kent and he knows & loves all of them
just. they’re so in love. they love each other so much. snowy gets caught staring at kent sometimes when he’s just doing regular shit like petting kit or cooking pasta or doing laundry and kent’s like “dude what” and snowy’s like “NOTHING I JUST LOVE YOU GOD WHATEVER” and kent grins bc his boyfriend is an adorable idiot and he’s so in love, he’s so happy, he gets to have this boy who tells him he’s cute and gives him kisses and affection and listens to him and it’s the best thing ever he loves it so much he loves snowy so much
