Burried Kerschl Treasure
Following some links, I just ran into this old gem of a mini comic by Karl Kerschl called Ragni.
It really is an amazing little piece of work. The control he has over tone and time is intimidating. It feels like an excerpt from some mystical, Japanese folktale.
Kerschl is the author of The Abominable Charles Christopher, winner of the Eisner award for Best Digital Comic 2011 (Eisners are the comics industry's Oscars).
