Non ho niente da offrire a nessuno eccetto la mia stessa confusione.
Kerouac
A me piacciono troppe cose e io mi ritrovo sempre confuso e impegolato a correre da una stella cadente all'altra finché non precipito. Questa è la notte e quel che ti combina. Non avevo niente da offrire a nessuno eccetto la mia stessa confusione.

A love note from someone, written on a book about love..
I want to work in revelations, not just spin silly tales for money. I want to fish as deep down as possible into my own subconscious in the belief that once that far down, everyone will understand because they are the same that far down.

“For just a moment I had reached the point of ecstasy for that I always wanted to reach, which was the complete step across chronological time into timeless shadows, and wonderment in the bleakness of the mortal realm, and the sensation of death kicking at my heels to move on, with a phantom dogging its own heels, and myself hurrying to a plank where all the angels dove off and flew into the holy void of uncreated emptiness, the potent and inconceivable radiancies shining in bright mind essence, inumerable lotus lands falling open in the magic mothswarm of heaven. I could hear an indescribable seething roar which wasn’t in my ear but everywhere and had nothing to do with sounds.”

But we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies

I posted a really great Camus quote earlier today and it got a handful of notes (and I got tons of new followers-- hey!), and I think this is interesting because I posted a Kerouac quote a few days ago that I think it just as great, but it got almost no notes and I got no new followers. It's interesting because I think it speaks to trends in lit-appreciation. Camus (and existentialism in general) is more en vogue than Kerouac (and his Beats). Hmm.
