But finally, here’s a piece for @cinlat that’s been a while coming, a big ol’ family portrait, which, let’s face it, could never be a proper family portrait without the teens goofing off and ruining things at the last second!

Looks like they will murder you but is a sweetheart

Keshal. She’s new to the story, a pure born, never lost her clan, raised in the lifestyle, Mando’ade woman. Her family was originally from Clan Cadera, and the first to return when Torian started rebuilding. I can’t get into her story too much without spoiling some things from Trigger, but basically, she’s terrifying on the surface, with a deep maternal streak that she tries her best to hide. If she sees a child crying, it would take an act of the gods to stop her from comforting them. Her son might also be convinced that she would be well within her rights as a parent to bury him in the backyard should be misbehave. In truth, Keshal would destroy anyone who wronged her baby boy. Not that she’d ever tell him that. He’ll realize it when he’s a little older, though.  Thanks for the ask. I’m in the midst of developing this particular character, and I looked forward to learning more about her. She and Fynta have an interesting future ahead of them. ;)
