Lionblaze x Kestrelflight is such a good ship do you have any headcanons or anything for them? 👀 👀

I love this ship so much, I think it's the cutest thing ever.

This is,,,less headcanons and more a small rewrite of Power of Three,,,whoops

Ok so, they met in the tunnels instead of Lionpaw and Heatherpaw. Kestrelpaw was looking for herbs and got stuck, cue Lionpaw coming to his rescue and leading him out. They start talking at gatherings and become friends, then they decide "I don't wanna wait a whole month to talk to my friend, let's met up in the tunnels!"

So they do! They role play like Heather and Lion did in canon but the also talk about deep stuff. Kestrelpaw tells Lionpaw about his family and how he feels out of place or like he has so much more responsibility since his father is the leader (i headcanon Heathertail, Kestrelflight and Harespring as the children of Onestar). Meanwhile Lionpaw confines in Kestrelpaw about his issues, how he feels like he's got no control over his emotions or how he's afraid he might seriously hurt someone one day.

They become each other's personal confidant and it's great! Plus, Lionpaw is more inclined to reject Tigerstar's offer at training cause "Kestrelpaw says I have great restraint! I don't need some old ghost telling me that!" And then he tells Kestrelpaw "dude I saw a ghost is that normal??" This could also lead to a Medicine Cat!Lionblaze au if you wanted. Basically tunnels friends lasts a lot longer cause Lionpaw is more confident in himself thanks to having someone he can talk to and Kestrelpaw is more confident in himself as well, more confident to stand up to Onestar when he gets the authority to do so.

They become mates around the middle of the Power of Three arc and when the reveal happens Lionblaze is very tempted to agree with Hollyleaf's plan to run away to Windclan. Kestrelflight supports whatever decision he makes and the two decide to take a break from being mates until everything blows over. Omen of The Stars gose over "normally" but when the arc ends, Lionblaze leaves Thunderclan to be with Kestrelflight!

They have 2 litters! The first litter is one daughter named Chickadeesong, a big gal with a big heart who loves her dads! The second litter has three kittens, Finchkit, Canarykit and Cuckookit!

Lionblaze adjusts pretty well to Windclan but is still a bit awkward, he mostly patrols and hunts, he dosen't participate in battles cause he knows he couldn't bring himself to fight his old clan. So he becomes a part time den dad! If he's not sleeping in the nursery he's sleeping in the medicine den with Kestrelflight, his husband is never cold with him around~

The boys!! KestrelLion is catching on and I'm so happy!! Lionblaze deserves a boyfriend and there aren't a lot of good candidates in thunderclan. (Although him and Toadstep are cute, I see that more of a big brother/little Brother vibe)

If I ever get the programs to make an animatic for these two to Collar Full by p!atd cause that's a good song and it fits these two!

Plus I also through in some DaisyThorn! Cause Daisy deserves a husband that'll actually stick around. Also since I headcanon Thornclaw as Ace, Rose and Toad would still be Spiderleg's kits but he'd be a great dad to them too. He definitely is a good dad to Berry, Mouse and, Hazel~

Alright Y'all I was planing on making a kitten post like the couple post, interacting between siblings and their parents and it was gonna be all good and dandy.

I got artblock. It's easier to draw canon characters who've already interacted with each other, so it's easier to imagine how romantic interactions might be. With characters built from the ground up its a little harder so I thought "why not show their references and ask the followers what they wanna see?" So here we go!

Kestrelflight and Lionblaze have 2 litters, the first consisting of their eldest daughter Chickadeesong and the second consisting of their daughter Finchkit, and their children Canarykit and Cuckookit.

Chickadeesong is widely know as Windclan's biggest asset, she's big, she's strong and she's terrifying to met in battle. However Chickadee is actually very sweet and after the initial backlash of, well, her existing, a lot of Windclan became very protective of her as a kitten and so Chickadee grew up being very grateful for her clan and becoming the absolute UNIT she is in order to protect them in turn. Chickadee is both taller and bigger than her father Lionblaze and has all the heart of both her dads~ She's Windclan's collective big sister and really cares for all her clanmates, even the ones who still try to throw a fuss about her half clan blood. Chickadee is very close with her cousins Brindlewing and Smokehaze, whom she's older than by a bit, and three of them consider themselves as sisters. This kind of brings Lionblaze and Breezepelt closer together as brothers too, seeing as their daughters adore each other. Chickadee is very claustrophobic and can't sleep in the burrow dens that Windclan uses.

Canarykit is the second oldest KestrelLion baby and is definitely based off of Tweety Birb from looney tunes. Canary and their siblings had a much easier time growing up than their older sister and thus aren't as self conscious about their place within Windclan. Therefore Canary is much more comfortable with flirting across their borders for fun, especially the easily impressed Barn Cats who live near the gathering lake. Canary grows up to be a very sweet but devious cat who is known for being a little difficult to get close to, however they're still a reliable warrior and is always trying to keep up moral. Canary's warrior name would reflect their personality.

Finchkit is the first youngest daughter of Kestrelflight and Lionblaze. Finchkit is the most Windclan-like kit from her litter and is the fastest as well. Finch is loud, rowdy and has a bit of a temper that often gets her into trouble. She and Chickadee are both very good fighters and are usually on the front line in battles. The scar on her face is from her first time hunting a rabbit, it kicked her in the face and she finds it super embarrassing. Finch is the most like her half-uncle and grandfather, which as an apprentice was very concerning for her fathers. Breezepelt (who I imagine was either her mentor or was close with her) was quick to relate to her quick temper and the first to learn of Finch's discomfort in Windclan. After meeting her Thunderclan kin she felt much more comfortable among them and was scared to tell anyone else and thus would lash out at any complements towards her more 'Windclan like' mannerisms. To this day she hasn't told anyone else and is scared to talk about it, especially now as she's devolved a crush on the Thunderclan warrior Eaglewing. Finchkit's warrior name is Finchflare, for both her tail and her fiery personality.

Cuckookit is the youngest KestrelLion baby. They are the quietest of the siblings and also the smallest, their older siblings are very protective of them. Cuckoo also has asthma and as a warrior begins carting lungwort to treat any sudden flare ups. They hunt and fight just as well as other warriors but they also help queens and elders, and they help build temporary dens for their father and sister when the weather is bad. Cuckoo is very mellow and easy going, and is one of the friendlier siblings along with Chickadee. Speaking of Chickadee, Cuckoo and Chickadee are very close and are usually seen together, even at gatherings when they could be with others. Cuckoo also has a good relationship with their younger cousins Woodpaw and Applepaw, along with their cousin Swiftsnow from Thunderclan! Cuckookit's warrior name would likely have something to due with their perseverance and loyalty.

Aww Lion x Kestrel is really cute 💕😔 Question, did they adopt kits or did someone offer to be a surrogate for them? And if so who?? 👀 :0

Tbh when i first designed them I wasnt really thinking about that!

Although I think its safe to say that Chickadee was likely adopted while their second litter (finch, canary and cuckoo) were surrogated! Part of me wants to say Heathertail helped them but then they'd have 4 half siblings and that would defiantly mess up windclan bloodlines.

If Sunstrike wasn't dead by the time the second litter was born I'd say her but, other than those two I'm not entirely sure! Maybe in an au where Sunstrike survives the battle and becomes friends with Lionblaze? Who knows, y'all can headcanon whom ever you'd like as the second litter's surrogate I guess.

So Tumblr doesn't want me to post the boys so here's the forbbiend windclan/thunderclan romance we deserve! Also Daisy and her way better husband Thornclaw~

One day, when I have the means, I wanna make an animatic to Collar Full by p!atd. I feel like it fits Kestrel and Lion pretty well.

Also Thornclaw and Daisy came out of no where but I kind of love it. I imagine Thornclaw being Scottish and Daisy being country so Rose and Toad have a weird mix of country and scott and no one can understand them ever. Thorn is good dad and stepdad to all his kiddos. He loves them so mucn~~ Also since Thorn is ace in my headcanon, Spiderleg acted as a surgate for them.
