Ketherad is the demigod, created by the god of sovereignty, conquest, and order from cosmic energy that might otherwise become a star. Vikshira is a rakshasi who spent several centuries eating people/being a supernaturally malevolent menace until she became recognized as a minor goddess. Vik's people see Keth's creator as the true incarnation of their lost god-king, so the two are spending the rest of eternity arguing on the nature of gods and mortals when they're not trying to kill each other.
