If you're training right while you diet you may be one of the lucky ones who put on some muscle while you lose body fat... the scales won't tell you that. And if you're manipulating carbs in the diet then your electrolytes and water balance may well be all over the place which is going to make the scale weight erratic over the short term. So if you're one to base the quality of your day on what your morning scale weight says (which is ALWAYS a shit idea) ... (1) take your scales and hurl them maniacally off a cliff, then (2) get butt-ass naked in front of a mirror and take a picture, do the same in a month, and see what's changed.
