If your Keurig coffee machine isn't working right or is making weak coffee, it might be clogged. This easy cleaning method with vinegar can help clear out the machine and make it work better.
Ingredients: 1 paperclip or a small needle. Vinegar. Water.
Instructions: Remove the power from your Keurig coffee machine and turn it off. Take out the water tank and drain any water that is still in it. With care, open the Keurig's lid and take out the K-cup holder. Check the needles and the K-cup holder for the blockage. If you see coffee grounds or other junk, use the paperclip or needle to gently clear them out. Watch out not to hurt the needles. Half white vinegar and half water should be added to the water tank. Use enough to make a few cups of coffee. Put a big mug on the drip tray to catch the vinegar mix. You can use the Keurig on a brewing cycle without putting in a K-cup. This will help clean the parts inside and get rid of any clogs that are still there. If you want to use up all the vinegar mixture, just empty the mug and start the process over again. Run two cycles with just plain water to get rid of any vinegar taste that's still there after cleaning with vinegar. After putting the water tank and K-cup holder back together, your Keurig coffee machine should be clear and ready to use again.
