An Interview with Kevin Devine
Last time we caught up with Kevin Devine, he had just released two albums (Bubblegum and Bulldozer). Since then, he released a 6 issue vinyl split series, a new full length studio album (Instigator), and has continued to tour both solo, and with a full band. Over the past 15 plus years, Kevin has explored a unique path through the music industry, that has allowed him to make a living doing what he loves. With each release he discovers new listeners, while creating stronger ties to those who have listened to his music for years. In Buffalo during a solo leg of tour, Luke caught up with Kevin to discuss his songwriting process, and what still surprises him about writing and releasing music, now nine studio albums into his career.
