BUT HEY actually this particular xover makes sense? in the 1st episode with tooms i think (perks of bingewatching - you remember little things like this) someone says sth along the lines of 'it could be hannibal the cannibal for all i care' and i wasn't clarified that hannibal is a fictional character there......so..........let's say he's not................

and in the x files comics mulder talks about damn fine coffee and his friend from the fbi who says that a lot IT'S CANON AF
