yes, next question?
hold up hold up we need to talk about azune.
as far as i am aware, could be wrong about this lmk, but azune is a paladin/sorcerer with more levels in sorcerer than paladin. except-- wasn't it a part of brennan's worldbuilding that the sorcerers of the sundered houses got their gifts from the gods way long ago? i don't know i could be wrong, i miss things sometimes, but i'm currently watching episode 24, and the scene where azune levels up and is talking to thjazi/himself in his room at night, and luis mentioned those sorcery points and in my head i just went "WAIT" because how did azune become a sorcerer?
we know that azune and his sister were taken by a mercenary group as children and they were seperated from their parents. in azune's flashback, his parents were poor farmers if i remember correctly, and they encouraged azune and mayali to be accepted into this mercenary group so that they would be paid and be able to eat and to have a better life than they did, or at least that is how i'm interpreting that scene. we can talk about the ethics of giving your children to mercenaries later, and whether or not that was a good choice, but that isn't the conversation i'm meaning to have right now, what i'm wondering right now is how does azune's sorcerous abilities play into this. is his sister a sorcerer? his mother, father? when did his sorcery happen, like when did he get those powers? we know that as a kid he fought in the falconers rebellion, but imo, i don't think he had magic back then, i'm pretty sure he was just a scrawny kid that they gave a sword and pointed in the direction of their enemies.
there was that short that came out around the beginning of campaign four, where brennan narcs on who submitted the most info/backstory about their character, and he said that robbie (kattigan) had submitted the most and that it was not a close race, but brennan also gave shoutouts to taliesin (bolaire, a literal sentient weapon used in the shapers war to kill a god i should fucking hope we get some cool fucking backstory coming up), sam (wicander, and who sam had created an entire religion and wrote a bible for), and luis who is playing azune. what the fuck is up with azune. didn't liam (hal) write an entire play for his character?? what did luis submit to brennan that was more than an entire play
i'm only on episode 24, still have to catch up, but i just gotta yap about this first
watching the 'discussing up to episode 25' cr tale gate and holy shit, i'm not even 5 mins into this hour plus long video and taliesin is already being halaire's no. 1 shipper
vaelus/hannen shippers rlly going thru the "WE'RE SO BACK" to "it's so over" cycle

aka the second time julien has left teor to die
watching kattigan crash a train while talking to yanessa and i am just. panicking. oh my god the schemers did so well, planting evidence for the einfassen, taking care of lady cormoray without their covers being blown, assembling an army of 350 soldiers, etc etc, and now one drunken nature man talks to photarch yanessa halovar and it is all going to come crashing down
