A ⇴ AFFECTION

The two of you have the perfect mix of being close to one another and giving each other space when it comes to affection, trying your best never to be too much for each other, whilst also giving enough to the other too.

B ⇴ BOYS

Sharing such a similar sense of humour to Kibum, it didn’t take the boys long to start getting along with you, joking around with you like they did him. It almost felt as if you’d been alongside the group for years with how well you integrated in with them, sharing jokes and laughing just like you were a member of the group.

C ⇴ COMFORT

He worked incredibly hard to try and cheer you up whenever you needed comforting, Kibum would stop at nothing until he saw the smile on your face. Whilst he would be serious while you told him what the problem was, as soon as you fell silent, he would be by your sides with plenty of jokes to pick you up.

D ⇴ DOMESTICATED

One of the advantages of being with Kibum was how domesticated he was and how much he loved doing jobs around the house. The cleaning of your apartment was most definitely down to him for starters, he liked everything to have a place in your home. He also loved to cook, and although he loved doing his own thing, Kibum couldn’t deny that he loved any chance that the two of you got to cook together.

E ⇴ ENGAGEMENT

Being Kibum, he was never going to let his proposal be something boring. He went all out when it came to proposing to you, determined to blow you away with the things that he had planned for you, meticulously planning out every single detail so that it was perfect. The bigger the better was Kibum’s motto, from the location to the ring, he wanted it to be extra, and unlike any proposal you’d seen before.

F ⇴ FAVOURITE THING

Kibum’s favourite thing about you was how content he felt around you and how much fun he had when he was around you too. With the dogs as well, the four of you were a proper family, finding your feet and working around one another with a good routine. Your life together felt domestic, like a movie script, but that was perfect for Kibum, because he was comfortable whenever he was around you.

G ⇴ GOING OUT

The two of you weren’t ones to turn down an invite when it was sent your way, and with Kibum having so many contacts in the industry, you found yourselves usually at a minimum of two parties a week, meeting up with various friends or celebrating the end of yet another project for him or for the whole group.

H ⇴ HONEYMOON

You both knew that your honeymoon was a rare chance for you both to relax, a chance that neither of you were going to pass up. You wanted sun, and you wanted lots of cocktails, but aside from that you just wanted to be able to forget about home for a while and escape into a bubble of calm, without any stress.

I ⇴ “I LOVE YOU”

Grand gestures were by far Kibum’s favourite way to show you that he loved you, he enjoyed keeping you on your toes and the challenge that came with making sure that each gesture was bigger than the last. When the door went, or Kibum returned home, you never quite knew what to expect from him.

J ⇴ JEALOUSY

His face was by far the biggest giveaway whenever Kibum got jealous, the look of disapproval and disgust at the person who was getting too close to you always left you in fits of giggles. It’s an obvious look that everyone else around you can pick up on too, even the person that’s getting too close to you will know that they’re doing something straight away when they look across to where Kibum is.

K ⇴ KIDS

You both were more than happy being dog parents, but you definitely treated it as experience for when you had a baby too. Whilst neither of you were still in no rush after you got married, over time it was a conversation that the two of you found yourselves having more and more as you thought about the future.

SHINee “Their baby falls asleep on their chest”

A/N: Someone said there was a lack of SHINee reactions. So here I am. As always, I just want to disclose that I don’t write for Jonghyun anymore. My heart can’t handle that and it doesn’t feel right. ♥

Onew/Jinki:

It was one of those wonderfull days where Jinki didn’t have to do anything and he could just be home with his family. You were particularly happy to have him around, even if you were all just hanging out in bed together. Your son sat on his Jinki’s chest and your fingers were running through his hair.

“This is nice.” Jinki hummed, looking at you with half closed eyes as you ran your fingers through his hair. “It is. We missed having you around.” You said softly and kissed his forehead. “I missed you guys too.” He said, eyes sincere as you looked into them. “I know. We know. We’re just glad to have you here.” You said and looked towards your son. He was now sound asleep, burried into his father’s chest and his small fists gripping the fabric of his shirt. “However, I think our son got a little bored.” You said with a big smile.

Jinki looked towards his son who was far away in dream land and you watched his smile stretch over his face. He hadn’t really been able to have this experience yet.

“I feel like I won the lottery.”

Key/Keybum:

The second your family entered the practice rooms, Key’s smile wasn’t missable. It was the first time Key was going to be able to show off your daughter to the other’s in the company and you had tagged along, being equally as excited.

Your daughter was being doted on by everyone in sight, and you couldn’t blame them at all. Being surrounded by a small group of people, while your daughter rested on Key’s chest and your head on his shoulder. “You guys really are the perfect little family.” Taeyeon said, snapping a picture and making you both laugh. The little bow on your daughter’s head had slipped off and Key was about to put it back on when he noticed that she was asleep.

Even with all of the sound and commotion going on around her, she didn’t care. Key nudged your arm for you to look and you couldn’t help but giggle a little. You kissed his cheek before tucking her little bow into your pocket.

“I wish I was as care free as her.”

Minho:

It really was a sight to see. Minho’s large body laying across from your sons on the playmat as they played around with random toys. You had snapped your pictures of them a while ago and were just watching as they played at this point. However yours son’s yawn was unmissable.

“Aigooo. Someone’s tired.” Minho said and picked him up, moving to sit with you on the couch. You couldn’t hold back your laughter as he yawned himself before leaning over and pinching his cheeks. “Aigooo, someone’s tired.” You teased and he laughed slightly, letting your son rest on his chest. “Having kids is tiring.” He said, looking at you through sleepy eyes. “It is but it’s totally worth it.” You said and pointed at your now sleeping son.

“That was fast.” Minho said and pulled you into his side. With his other hand, he pet his sons head lightly and admired him. Some days he couldn’t believe he was a father.

“You’re right. It’s totally worth it.”

Taemin:

The slamming of the front door woke not only you, but your daughter. Her crying now filling your house. You knew it was Taemin coming home and the second you were standing on the hall he had a pout on his face. “The door slipped out of my hands.” He said and you laughed. Even though you were tired, you couldn’t be mad at him.

“I got her.” He said and dropped his bag to go into the nursery. You followed, being awake now and having not seen him all day. “Hey now.” Taemin said and picked his crying daughter up. He sat down in the rocking chair and you sat on the floor in front of him, initiating quiet chatter about your days. It didn’t take long for her to fall asleep, only he hadn’t noticed. He was enjoying talking with you.

“She’s asleep, you know.” You said after a good half an hour. Taemin glanced down at his daughter, a small smile on his face. He looked back to you and reached out to grab your hand.

“I know, I’m just really enjoying this.”

SHINee | When you’re having a bad day/week

Summary: You’re having a really bad day/week and they comfort you.

A/N: I decided to make this because A.) I have been away for a while so you deserve something and B.) My best friend has been feeling down so I hope Minho’s reaction will make her feel a little bit better at least :( And hopefully, if any Shawols are having a bad day, this will make you feel better”

ONEW

Onew immediately noticed you were in a bad mood, but he didn’t ask about it right away. He wanted you to talk about it first. But when, you were showing him fake smiles and telling you were fine he became sad. Even if you tried to look happy, Onew knew you. He knew when you were excited, when you were scared and definitely when you were sad. He wanted you to feel better, so he asked you if you were really okay. You knew you couldn’t hide your emotions from your boyfriend any longer, so you finally said “I am not okay...” and told what had been bothering you, shedding a few tears as you explained, then Onew hugged you tightly.

“It will be okay. I know it. We’ll make it through it. I will be there for you, my love, don’t worry.”

KEY

You knew you really couldn’t hide your true emotions from Key. Even if you showed a poker face, he knew that something was off. So you didn’t even try to hide your true feelings as you met him. He noticed your weird act right away and told you to sit down while he would make tea for you two. And when the tea was ready, he gave you your mug and sat down with you, looking as if he was ready to listen, and so, you did talk. Key was always there to listen to you rant.

“What? Really?” He shook his head. “That’s so shitty. If you need my help, just ask, okay? I am here for you.”

Minho

You tried to hide your feelings, and you were successful for the most part. Minho usually asked how you were, and you always smiled and said “I’m fine”, so he didn’t question it. But after a bad week, you couldn’t really hide it. Minho knew something was off and he asked about it. You did the usual and smiled while saying you were okay. But he didn’t buy it and asked if you were really okay. That made you broke down into crying. Minho quickly wrapped his arms around you, holding you tightly as you cried. He gently played with your hair to calm you down.

“It’s okay babe. Shhh. Everything is going to be okay. I still love you even if you’re not always happy. We all have bad moments.”

Taemin

Now, Taemin didn’t always notice if you were sad. Most of the time, if you told him you were fine, he would drop it and believe you even if you had lied. But this time, even though you told him you were fine, something was telling him you really weren’t. So he asked you about it, and so you decided to explain everything that had been bothering you.

“Baby, why didn’t you tell me earlier? I could’ve tried to make you feel better sooner...”

ONEW: Boy would be so confused but so proud. He was happy that you kept yourself updated on all their promotion and kept his pictures, especially since you couldn’t see each other regularly and it reenforced his happiness of knowing he was your favourite member

KEY: “I’m your favourite?” He loved that you had so many pictures of him and had a complete blog dedicated to him. He would brag to the other members about how lucky he was to have you and that you were his number one fan

MINHO: He would fangirl so hard about your blog and knowing you had so many pictures of him. From then on, he would constantly send you selfies of him and the rest of the members to add to your collection and it became a way of updating each other on your day

TAEMIN: “Why do you have so many pictures of me?” The poor boy would be so confused but when you explained to him why you had so many pictures of him and about your blog, he’d send you a ton of pictures

SHINee reaction to you falling asleep on top of them

‘‘Jonghyun: ‘’...okay, what am I supposed to do now?’’...he spends a whole hour trying to find an answer to that and when you eventually wake up he’s like ‘’...I can’t just tell her I’ve been staring at her face for an hour, wondering if it would be ok to kiss her.’’, so he just pretends he’s sleeping it’s not convincing

Key: wakes you up a minute later when he drops the phone while trying to get a good enough photo of you two and the phone lands right on your head and is followed by a hysterical laugh...so yeah, you might consider going somewhere else to sleep

Onew: while thinking what to do he finds himself thinking how living together would be like and half an hour later he’s already decorating your new house and naming your first child and doesn’t even realize he’s smiling like an idiot and...’’Onew...why are you smiling like that.’’, ‘’...no reason!’’

Minho: spends the hour in agony because he’s way too thirsty and you’re way fast asleep and there’s no way he’s going to do something that could wake you up while you’re sleeping on top of HIM...and it’s basically a battle between you and thirst and for some reason you were winning for a good hour until he convinced himself that carrying you bridal style to the kitchen is good enough

Taemin: spends half an hour thinking about what he’s going to say when you wake up and is torn between ‘’did you sleep well’’ and ‘’do you want me to bring you something to drink’’ in case you’re thirsty...but he still manages to say ‘’did you drink well’’ and then you have to spend the next 15 minutes getting him out of the blanket he hid himself under

Key

Diva Key here would probably not wake up in as bright of a mood. He’d be concerned that you were kissing his bare face or something of the sort. “Jagiya, I love you and all, but you’re interrupting my beauty sleep..”

Minho

This cutie would honestly probably be the one to be waking you up with kisses, actually.

Taemin

He’d be shy. Despite being your boyfriend, you can never cease to find things to do that make him blush and hide. “Babe, what are you doing?”

He Gets Jealous Of Your Colleague ~ Kim Kibum

Your eyes widened in horror as you looked out of your office window to see a familiar car parked outside of your building, shaking your head as you glanced out to Kibum.

As soon as you walked out of your office and saw a group of your colleagues stood in the entryway to the building, you knew that they had all spotted Kibum too. Your shoulders sunk as you weakly smiled across at them all, keeping your eyes off of Kibum’s car, trying your best to ignore that he was out there.

The one person who caught your eye the most in the group was Yeonwoo, who could only chuckle, knowing why Kibum was parked outside too.

“He really doesn’t like me, does he?” Yeonwoo asked you, nodding in the direction of Kibum’s car outside.

An apology came from you as you felt your cheeks begin to darken in colour. “I didn’t tell him to come here, I had no idea that he was coming here to pick me up.”

You were struggling to control your anger as you knew the exact reason as to why Kibum had suddenly found the time to be able to pick you up. There was something about Yeonwoo that just didn’t click with him, and as soon as you mentioned walking home with him, Kibum decided to put a stop to it.

“He obviously is just very protective of you,” Yeonwoo sympathised with you, “you can’t blame him for looking out for you, he must just want to make sure he doesn’t lose you.”

“He’s more likely to lose me if he keeps acting like this,” you gently laughed, trying to fight through the awkward atmosphere between the group, “I’ll be off, I can’t put off the inevitable forever in getting in that car with him.”

Your eyes shot a glare across at Kibum as soon as you slid into the car, immediately pulling your phone out as you fastened your seatbelt. Kibum looked across at you expectedly, but you refused to look at him, staring down at your phone.

After deciding that silence was how you would spend your ride home, Kibum pulled away from your workplace, beginning the uncomfortable, but short, journey back to his place.

You barely gave him time to park the car up before you opened up the car door, grabbing your work bag and heading into the house. Kibum called out your name, but you chose not to listen, throwing yourself down on the sofa immediately.

He didn’t stop following you though, determined to figure out whatever it was that had clearly gotten under your skin, knowing that he was probably at fault, even if he felt he had done nothing wrong.

“I know you think I probably did wrong to pick you up from work, but it felt like the right thing for me to do,” Kibum began to explain to you.

“You looked jealous and possessive to my colleagues.”

His head nodded as you spoke, “that wasn’t my intention, surely you know that. It’s not safe for you to be walking home, and with him too.”

Your head shook as yet again Kibum seemed to shift some of the blame on Yeonwoo, even though he had done nothing wrong. You didn’t understand what was so wrong with Yeonwoo, what about him made Kibum feel the need to be so wary around him too.

“Why would you offer to walk someone else’s girl home? Does that not seem suspicious to you?”

You struggled to keep yourself calm as Kibum tried to reason his actions with you. You trusted Yeonwoo, and you hoped that that would be enough for Kibum to trust in him too, but it wasn’t, it was anything but trust that the two of them shared.

“Look, I’m sorry if you feel that I did something wrong in picking you up, but I didn’t mean to,” Kibum admitted, “I just wanted to make sure that you were safe, and where can you be safer other than with me?”

“I can be safe without you though,” you explained to him, “my friends aren’t bad people, whether they’re male or female.”

“I appreciate that, I made a mistake Y/N.”

“I just wish you’d give him a chance; I think you’d get along.”

At times it felt like Yeonwoo was the only person that you talked about when you told Kibum about your day, instantly creating a barrier between the two of them. But you had a point, Kibum had never given him a chance, because of that very reason.

“I know it will sound stupid, but a small part of me does feel threatened by him,” Kibum suddenly admitted, “the two of you seem so close, I can’t fill the same gaps that he does with you.”

Your head shook back at him, “you’re never someone who feels threatened, and I know that if you spent a bit of time getting to know Yeonwoo you’d know that you have no reason to feel threatened by him either.”

“No one’s ever made me feel so doubtful of myself before.”

Your heart broke as Kibum began to open up to you, showing a side to him that you had never really seen before. You never imagined seeing him without confidence, without a smart remark to make, but for once Kibum was truly vulnerable before you.

“I never imagined that I would feel threatened by some other guy, but there’s something about your friendship that makes me feel scared, when I know I have no reason to be.”

You turned your hand out, offering it for Kibum to take a hold of, which he immediately accepted. “There is no person in this world who I love more than you, I’m lucky to have great friends and colleagues, but they never compare to you.”

Kibum could hear how genuine you were with every word that you spoke, listening intently as he felt reassured. You always understood how he was feeling which he was incredibly thankful for, relieved to have you always there for him.

“I don’t want to make life difficult for you at work, and maybe if you think Yeonwoo would have the time, it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to spend some time with him,” Kibum smiled.

“If that’s what you’d like to do, then I’d be more than happy to speak to him at work tomorrow.”

Although it would take time for Kibum to really build up the confidence around him, he wanted to start fixing bridges, to allow you to feel comfortable at work and not see Kibum as someone who could be jealous or possessive of you.

His smile grew as he glanced across and met the bright colour in your eye, “I don’t quite know what I did to get so lucky with you, I think I might have just hit the jackpot.”

Your head shook gently, “underneath the confidence that you carry yourself with, I know there’s a side of you that still worries a lot about so many things.”

“The thing I worry about the most is being the best possible boyfriend to you,” he assured, “I never want you to feel as if I’m letting you down.”

“You never have done,” you promised, “and I’m confident that you never will let me down either.”

“I’ll try my best, just like I always do.”

An Unexpected Pregnancy ~ Kim Kibum

The moment you looked down and saw the positive marking on the test, you knew your whole world was about to flip upside down. But more than that, you knew Kibum’s life was about to become even more chaotic than it already was.

You always appreciated how busy he was and how his career led him down so many different paths. The late nights and empty days were things you were used to, even if it did mean you spent most of your relationship apart, the times that you were together far outweighed anything else for you.

Your mind could think of nothing else but him as you gripped tightly onto the test in front of you. A shiver ran down your spine just thinking about how he’d react, whether he’d be pleased, or terrified that this was a spanner in the works to his career.

The few minutes you spent on the bathroom floor soon turned into days spent greeting him without saying a word. On his first day off in weeks, you decided that there was no better time to tell him and give him the time he probably needed to process things too.

“Do you mind if we have a chat?” You asked him as the two of you sat to breakfast that morning, staring nervously across at him.

“Of course,” he mused back, clueless as to how terrified you were and just how hard your heart was pounding. The way he looked at you was full of intrigue, unknowing of the words that were about to spill out of your mouth.

A part of you wanted him to enjoy the unknowing of the hurdle that was coming his way, but in the long run, you knew it would only make matters worse, the longer you left things.

“Just know that I’m sorry,” you whispered, noticing his body tense up immediately. He leant forwards across the table as a wave of scenarios washed over him.

“What could you possibly have to be sorry for? Have you done something wrong?”

Your head nodded back at him, gripping tightly onto the end of the table as you tried to keep yourself together. You could see the panic beginning to set in Kibum’s expression, knowing how much he always assumed the worst.

“Whatever it is, I’m sure we can talk about it,” he smiled, subtly pleading with you to start talking and stop leaving him worrying for any longer.

Your body froze as Kibum’s hand stretched across the table, letting you know that he was there for you. When you didn’t reach out to hold onto him, he let go of a sigh, moving his chair out from the table, creating a bigger distance between the two of you.

“I don’t know what’s going on, but unless you’ve cheated or something, what could it possibly be that we cannot solve?” He questioned, running a hand over the top of his head. “I’m guessing this must be pretty hard for you to talk about, so just give yourself a moment.”

Your head nodded, looking away from his eyes. “I just know how this is going to go, you’re going to be angry, and you’ll probably leave me all alone too.”

“I would never,” he instantly argued, “I’m not angry, I’m just worried, that’s all.”

With a deep sigh, you cleared your throat, staring down to the ground. “A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant Kibum,” you admitted.

“Really?” He asked, leaving you baffled as he let go of a laugh. “You’ve not seriously just spent the last few minutes thinking I’d ever be angry about you being pregnant?”

As your eyes looked up at him, your eyebrows furrowed as you noticed a wide smile across his face. He was bouncing gently in his chair, with his laughter only growing louder as your head nodded back at him in response to his question.

“Did you think I’d be mad? Not want you to be pregnant?” He continued to quiz, stretching his hand back out across the table, encouraging you to take a hold of it.

“How are you ever going to find the time to be a dad right now Kibum?” You asked, “think for a second about your career, the group? It’s a lot.”

“But we can make it work Y/N.”

“How can you sound so confident?” You sighed, feeling him tighten the grip that he had on your hand. “I don’t want to be the reason that work starts slowing down for you.”

He’d spent years making things work, shuffling his schedule around so that he could dedicate time to the group, his family, and most importantly, to you. He’d spent too long away from you, especially in the military, a baby was the perfect way to bring him back home for a little longer too.

“I’m confident that everything will be fine,” he smiled, “no part of our lives has ever been easy, so why would we start being normal now? I know it’s scary, and overwhelming, but I’m here. I’m not leaving, or getting upset, or anything that you thought I would.”

“What happens if you change your mind, or things get too busy for a family?”

His head shook, scoffing gently at how frantic you were. “You’re carrying my child Y/N, I would never change my mind about loving them, and you. Even if things get busy, I’m here, and I always will be. Have I ever made you feel as if you’re all alone before, even if I’m thousands of miles away?”

The answer was obvious, with a shake of your head, you could never recall a single moment in all your years together when Kibum had made you feel alone. Even if the devil on your shoulder wanted to remind you there could always be a first, you trusted him, and knew how much he cared.

“I guess I’m just scared about how daunting all of this is for us both?”

“I’m a little scared too,” he laughed back, “but I know that this is going to be an incredible adventure for us both, and something we’ll do together too.”

“It will be pretty fun,” you confessed, finally bringing yourself to smile, “especially now that I’ve finally managed to bring myself to tell you.”

“I understand why you waited so long though.”

You smiled appreciatively back at him, kicking yourself for ever thinking that Kibum would not be understanding and caring towards you.

“I can’t begin to imagine all the thoughts you’ve had in your head over the past couple of weeks, all the doubt and fears, it must’ve been hard,” he sympathised.

“I’m surprised you didn’t notice if I’m completely honest with you. I can tell in myself that I’ve been a little snappier, and all the times you thought I was just getting up early to see the sun, when I was really just sat in the bathroom,” you chuckled.

His eyes widened in disbelief, “I knew it was suspicious, I just thought you wanted to see the sun with the change of seasons.”

“I had to find some excuse to be able to get away with things, but I did watch the sunrise a few times through the bathroom window.”

His head shook, struggling to believe that he’d been so oblivious. “At least now when you get up in the early hours, I can be there with you. And when you shout at me, I can stop taking it to heart as much as I did.”

“Were you really getting upset with how much I snapped.”

“Maybe, but you’re pregnant, so I guess I’ll make an exception.”
