Hi!! I saw that your requests are open. May I request headcanons for Simon Keyes with an acrobat s/o? Thank you very much!!

When it comes to your job, Simon feels pretty conflicted about it. On the one hand, if you work at the Berry Big Circus, it allows him to keep a close eye on you during most of the day, something he wouldn’t be able to do normally. On the other, though, there’s some pretty major drawbacks, whether you work alongside him or not.

The first is the fact that your work gets you a lot of attention. He doesn’t really blame people for gawking at you, as your skills and athleticism are quite impressive, but he’s certainly not happy about it. Simon is possessive to a fault, and he hates that there’s so many eyes on you almost every night. Plus, your popularity has the potential to draw the attention of some rather... Unpleasant characters within the circus, which is the absolute last thing he wants.

The other drawback, and the one that worries him the most, is the fact that your work can sometimes get dangerous. While he does have a good deal of faith in your skill, he does not at all trust your fellow performers to keep you safe. Even if you’re not doing anything extreme like aerial acrobatics, there’s still a possibility, slim as it may be, that you could get hurt, and Simon can’t handle that.

He’ll try his hardest to convince you to take on a different, less dangerous job at the circus. If that doesn’t work, he has no trouble bringing out the waterworks and guilting you into complying. And if that doesn’t work, he’ll either find a way to get you fired if you don’t work at the Berry Big Circus, or manipulate Moe into convincing you to change jobs if you do.

Ya know, Simon would probably be (at least I think so) a really over-protective boyfriend once he starts trusting his s/o. Like, some douche cat-calls them while they're on their way home and when they tell Simon about it, we get this exchange, "I'm going to kill them" "That's very... Sweet? of you but please don't". Just a dumb thing I thought of, hope I'm not bothering you with all my Simon-related bs. - Keyes Anon ❤️️

of course! simon gets very protective of you once he knows he can fully trust you. he doesn’t want to lose you and wants you to be by his side for the foreseeable future. so he’s always keeping a watchful eye over you. he’d absolutely hate if he lost you for any reason, whether someone else winning your heart or worse

I haven't played TGAA2 yet so I just took one of his sprites and hoped it fits. I titled it "PoV: you just said a nice thing to Drebber and he bluescreened".

I can't decide which headcanon I like more: Simon not realizing he's in love because he's never felt romantic attraction before or Simon being completely aware of his feelings but refusing to acknowledge how attached he is to his s/o because he knows he'll lose them someday. Thoughts? - Keyes Anon ❤️️

i’ve thought about this a lot tbh! after i finished aai2 i fell in love with simon and actively look for content for him (sadly there’s not a lot) so i did a lot of brainstorming of my own!

i feel like it’s a bit of both. he’s never ever felt love in his life, therefore the feeling is completely foreign to him. so when he does feel love, he doesn’t know what it is. he’s intrigued yet also disgusted in himself because of this new feeling. a deep part of him is telling himself to run after the love, that’s it’s good and will make him feel butterflies. but another part of him is telling him to stay focused on his goal, that these feelings will distract him from his mission. i don’t really think he would come to the conclusion that he’s in love.

but if he did, he would be yet again very conflicted about how to act upon this. would he go after you? would he stalk you? would he try to win your favor? would he do anything? the answer is tricky and conveluted. because simon is a tricky and conveluted character. he knows who he is, but he doesn’t know who you are.

and that is why i feel like in the end, simon would ultimately refuse to get attached to anyone. he has severe trust issues that would not allow him to let anyone other than himself close to his heart

I have a mighty need for some fluff. How would Simon react to his partner's kid (from a previous relationship) pecking him on the forehead and saying, "Goodnight, daddy. I love you" as he tucks them in? I feel like he'd low-key be a great dad once he got the hang of things. - Keyes Anon ❤️️

if keyes was more chill and not an absolute maniac i would agree lol. i feel like he wouldn’t really like the idea of having kids and whatnot... so it’s kinda hard for me to write for this bc i don’t see him being a father by any means lol but i’ll try~

in that specific situation, where his kid says that, i feel like he would smile to himself as he walks out of the room. he feels proud, having come so far in life to actually have a kid and partner who love and care for him.

if i’m being perfectly honest keyes anon, i don’t really ever see simon being a father. i feel like he doesn’t have the heart for it.

hmm... in my opinion, simon doesn’t really like people like this. but! that’s not to say he wouldn’t get an s/o like this. he would, but he would only show you his facade since that side of him is sorta the same personality. i feel like he would more or less abuse that trust a little bit to try and manipulate you to do his bidding.
