The past two days I had the honor of working with Paul Dini, a man who shaped my childhood and many other peoples. He wrote some of the most iconic Batman/DC comic stories and created legendary characters like Harley Quinn. To help him create something for a future generation of kids is one of my favorite career moments. I don’t always post selfies, but this is just in case I die working out here in the 100+ Degree Texas Heat. Just Kidding, Kinda. I was carrying a Mambo Stand to Set, On Location at Capernaum First Century Village, and thought to pull my glove off with my teeth, just to snag a selfie. Tonight, I finally get to see @theironorchardfilm, at the @lonestarfilmfest!!! It’s supposed to be a packed house, tonight! I was the #KeyGrip on the Film, though I started as #BestBoyElectric, a weird jump but one that was needed to help make the film. If you’re able to attend, have a badge, or know someone to get tix from; you should be at the @amctheatres Palace Theater in downtown #FortWorth, before it’s showtime at 7pm. Did a #DrivingScene with some #ProcessTrailer work, today. Basic setup, no big frills. Strapped the @chapman_leonard #CobraDolly the #Chapman Trailer. The Electrics kept the interior balanced with some @litepanels, from @beyondtherental, through the windows. #Bumpy and #dusty road, but we got the shots. Filmed on @arri #AlexaMini by DP @cvalds. Throwback to the last couple nights, #Filming #NighttimeExteriors around a #Campfire. This shoot we had the #Propane fed #FlameBar on the ground next to 3 #NookLights on a #MagicGadget.
