Testing variations on a new recipe—it’s a multigrain sourdough I’m calling “Zesty Cranberry” but that doesn’t adequately describe it— loaded with sweet cranberries, aromatic lime (lots of finely minced peel, the winning recipe also has some of the fruit), plus rich and nutty toasted black sesame. Coming out of the oven it smells amazing, somewhere between the most deeply golden toasted wheat and key lime pie.
