how do you think po and tigress would confess to each other-

I have a feeling the day that IF the creators of KFP actually make Tigress and Po a couple, the fanbase would just break DJSDHJSSJ but ofc idk and this "if" is probably a really big one

I know this wasn't asked but I mean like it's relevant so- I want to say Po would confess first but I think Tigress would have the bigger guts, like she'd be more straight to the point

Which leads us to what was asked if this headcanon request, Tigress keeps it pretty simple and doesn't make it complicated, it's basically "I didn't really like you as much first that after we grew closer together I realized who you truly are, and that I was wrong the while time, I like being in your company and I've been contemplating this for a while.now but... I love you." Or something of that sort

Po would go on and on and he might start telling his whole life story if Tigress doesn't stop him in the middle and says that she gets it, like I can see her placing her hands on his shoulders and telling him with a smile "I get it. I love you, too, Po." 😭💕

They would very much confess to each other in private but I feel like if it's somewhere around the Jade Palace, you'd have Monkey and Mantis eavesdropping on them in the background cuz they made a bet on who would confess first LOL, maybe even when as well

They would both be really nervous prior to the confession, I think Po would be a bit more "jumpier" and energetic than usual and Tigress would spend a lot of nights awake trying to convince herself that everything will be fine

Po would have the larger worry since Tigress isn't known for showing other people her affection, but at the same time you could argue Tigress has a pretty big weight on her shoulders too since she never shows Po she cares about him unless in extreme situations, so would he even believe her if she said she loved him?

I feel like maybe Tigres would ask Viper or Should for reassurance? Perhaps Crane as well, she trusts they're not gonna go off and be like "ooooh she's gonna Po she loves him!" Or smth idk

However I think if Crane were to get asked "hey man I need some confession advice" it'd be Po, honestly I think he'd be desperate enough to ask like everyone except Tigress LOL, even his dad

Lord Shen x Reader, first meeting headcanons?

Ooh 👀 this is definitely something I've never gotten before, excited to give this a shot!

I do want to warn you ahead of time i SUCK at writing anything romantic. I don't know how to write/describe it well without making it cringe and/or cliche but of course that's just me lol.

Because of his royal status, he was definitely pretty spoiled and had that "I am greater than thou" type attitude so he was that kid that everyone hated lol

Because of how loving his parents were, I feel like they wouldn't want him to be cooped up behind castle walls all his life, they would want him to familiarize himself with the village so when he inherited the throne, he would be a good ruler, so he was not homeschooled.

He was kind of a brat ngl, especially with the fact that it was his family that invented fireworks so he was also a bragger xD

Your parents were servants at the place Shen lived at, so you knew about this kid. But never really got a chance to talk to him because of his higher status.

He seemed pretty fun to be around, sure he was kinda loud and you were more quiet but you liked how energetic he was.

But most importantly, you were really interested about this entire firework stuff! He talks about it very often, and it sounds really cool, he seems like he has access to the fireworks very easily...

You would most likely "officially" meet if you will, at school, he's always off at his own little corner in the palace so there's no chance you'd be able to talk to him there.

It would be during some free period, more likely than not lunch. He's seen you around a few times at the palace and assumed that you were probably the child of some servants or whatever that worked there and he's been a bit curious about you for a while now

Usually the people that served at the palace didn't have children and if they did they'd probably send them off, so you were a pretty rare case.

Y'all talk some during lunch, just about normal stuff, nothing too out of the ordinary, you could Shen is just like "I can't believe I'm talking to this kid" because you were at a lower status than him and therefore "inferior"

But y'all do hit it off and become a sort of casual friends :D! Shen does explicitly pretend he hates you tho lol but in reality he does enjoy you around! It's nice to have someone to play with, royalty life can get a bit lonely at times

It won't be until the two of you are a bit older do you ask him about the firework stuff. At that point he's gotten into it a lot and he's grown a lot more chaotic/mischievous than when he was younger, despite the fact he's supposed to act like a sophisticated prince or smth lol

Easily the most chaotic ship ever. Legit if Tai Lung decided that today was a good day to commit crimes Mei Mei would join just for the thrill of it LMBOO

I can imagine Tai Lung being in jail and calling her to get him via a bail or something and she's just like "didn't you say you were too handsome to get caught and arrested" JAHAHAHA- she might leave him hanging for a few days before she does smth to get them out

You would NEVER have guessed they were dating. They never do anything that a stereotypical couple does and if they do call each other pet names you'd just assume it was part of their friendship dynamic or whatever

Like it's just a part of their personal, matches Mei Mei perfectly since she's kind of a flirty gal, and then for Tai Lung he'd do it to p!ss you off LOL.

Their entire relationship is just:

Tai Lung: I woke up today and chose VIOLENCE. I WILL COMMIT ARSON AND BURN EVERYTHING TO THE GROUND!!! I AM ANGRY-

Mei Mei: Awwwh, you're so adorable! Come over here and give me a hug~

Tai Lung x Mei Mei shippers, probably: [recording] This is so cute.

Trust me when I say Tai Lung cannot cook for sh/t, he will literally burn the kitchen and then the whole village either on accident or out of anger, could be a combination of both tbh. That's why Mei Mei does the cooking, and her food is THE BOMB.

Mei Mei is probably the only person that takes a genuine interest in him despite his past, like yes we have Shifu who loved him like a father but we all know how the story goes with the Dragon Warrior thing

He feels like Mei Mei actually understands him, and that's the beauty of it all

I think it would be really cute if Mei Mei talked Tai Lung into recognizing his mistake and apologizing to Shifu so he can rebuild their father-son connection 🥺 but like at the same he tried to kill him so- I don't think that's too great of an idea

Mei Mei is highly aware that Tai Lung is genuinely crap at driving but she lets him do it anyways because drifting off the road at 70 mph is such a blast yk? Aren't bicycle cart things the replacement for cars in the KFP verse? I have no idea tbh but uhm whatever lol just imagine the two of them biking down a steep hill at incredible speeds

Mei Mei loves the thrill of Tai Lung's chaotic and sometimes illegal acts of "fun" it's an adventure every day for her. Don't worry she makes sure Tai Lung stays within the law.. somehow.. not too sure how she does it tbh but she does!

She's always been a wild spirit and when wild spirit meets wild (and chaotic for that matter) spirit, then you know it's a y e s

Mei Mei is the first to find Tai Lung's softer side. Not a surprise but I'd like to think she took him to the peach groves for the first time and he just became a somft big kitty

If Shifu didn't know who Po was, he'd probably be one of those hip dads that tries to act cool but ends up just making things really awkward LOLOLOLOLOL

However he literally IS one of those cool dads, somebody said under a video about him "Shifu is simultaneously 70 years old and 17 years old" and I have never agreed more, homie's got a good sense of humor

In theory, he shouldn't be too worried about Tigress dating Po, because "oh she'd set him straight" but there's also the concern of.. "goodness gracious my daughter is dating an idiot"

And!! Sometimes Po's shenanigans rubs off on her, I forgor which LoA episode this was but it's the one with the spirit orbs (forgive me if there is a lot about that but it's in season 2 if that helps at all-)

He's actually surprisingly pretty okay with it, I feel like if Po and Tigress started dating a lot earlier Shifu would be like "NO" cuz it took a while for Po to really settle in with him

Like he was still kind of somebody that was going into kung fu without any prior proper experience so he could have been a little hesitant

But he's kinda just like "eh okay as long as you still do your training" and stuff like that

WOULD 100% NEVER LET PO "TAKE TIGRESS HOME" UNTIL THEY GET MARRIED OR SMTH LMBOOOOO

He'd be like "what?? Take her where?? The Jade Palace is BOTH your homes-"

For all of that though, he's no helicopter parent, he lets Tigress do her own thing and basically lets her handle the relationship herself, after all, it is HER love life, he's just around to help her if she needs it, or if he feels that he ABSOLUTELY needs to step in (which is pretty much almost never)

And also he trusts Po a lot, he doesn't think that he'll ever do something bad, and if a breakup happens it'll be handled maturely and in the right way, so he's super supportive of their relationship 💖

Tigress doesn't know this but Shifu is planning on throwing the LARGEST wedding he can possibly muster for when she and Po get married. He's got a whole freaking binder with all the plans and whatnot-

Probably the hardest TiPo shipper out of anyone, doesn't show it but like he loves how Tigress and Po can get along so well

Bro I remember seeing that Shifu had a love interest back in the day for the first time I was absolutely s h o o k e t h 😂😂😂 Shifu was my fav character (and still is tbh) so yea that was a wild trip

I kinda feel them seeing the other again was extremely awkward, sort of how you would feel after seeing a classmate after many many years or smth... basically it was just really WEIRD. Not sure if this genuinely happened in the show since I haven't seen that episode in a long time but either way...

Speaking of which idk if they ever genuinely got back together but who cares lol. I see them as just distant mutuals.

Back in the day Mei Ling would know EXACTLY what to say to fluster Shifu, so she would tease him sometimes it was kinda funny ngl

I mean Mei Ling kinda gives that kind of vibe anyways.. Shifu got used to it really quick lol

Mei Ling stole a writing utensil from Shifu without him knowing in their primary school years and she never gave it back. To this day, she still has that writing utensil.

Shifu definitely chided Mei Ling on not doing honorable acts and basically was the more responsible one out of the pair, he was successful in getting her to not at the beginning of their friendship (and relationship ig) but later on it got harder and harder to convince her what she was doing was wrong

So eventually she just made up her mind, though I think a small part of Shifu still believes she can change. Quite stubborn but that's just how it is ig

Y'all think Shifu wonders about what went wrong and where it went wrong? Like I feel he holds himself very accountable and thinks about what he could have done differently to not lose Mei Ling like that, though a part of him knows that nothing would have made anything different

Also this whole shabang is a part of his past that he does not speak about but of course when Mei Ling showed up to the Jade Palace that got slapped in his face

Cant remember how the actual episode went but to me Shifu should have/definitely pulled the "we're not on speaking terms" card for a while LOL. At least not until he felt ready to confront Mei Ling. There was probably feelings of anger and also just confusion, because like.. what

Do people have any interest with a redemption arc between these guys?? I don't really care but idk wouldn't it be kind of cool if they can be on at least okay terms

I like to imagine that if there was modern technology in Ancient China, there would be so many memes about Shifu, Oogway, the Furious Five, Po and all the stuff that happened in the movies.

Maybe a few horrible ones like how Shen shot Po with a cannon would piss the Furious Five off.

I feel that, before Po came, the Jade Palace either didn't use social media at all or they were strictly monitored by Shifu, so like they could only post certain things about certain matters for a certain amount of time

They'd kind of resemble those of modern day companies where they'll use Twitter to talk about sales and stuff, I don't know never used Twitter (and don't plan to lol)

Po was a considerably heavy social media user, keeping up with all the latest updates on kung fu and he very obviously followed the social media accounts of the Five. Fanboy much?

Why can I imagine the Jade Palace being a collaborative social media account on Instagram ran by Shifu, Oogway, and the Five and like posting about the event that happened at the beginning of the first movie (I forgor the name) and being all "Please RSVP if you plan to attend" and whatnot LMBOO

Also btw "RSVP" comes from the French phrase "répondez s'il vous plait" which means "please reply" or "respond please" so that's pretty cool ig

So yeah, social media use never really was a thing until Po came along, like bro I bet he and Monkey would always do really dumb crap for TikTok views DJDJDJJD

Po's follower count would SKYROCKET, well for one he's had a social media account for a long time now and his new Dragon Warrior game really helped to boost his online status

Also he's like the only one who makes stuff about what really happens in the Jade Palace ig, also he's super active so that's another thing

Viper is a casual enjoyer of the memes, some of them are especially amusing to her, while Tigress, Crane, and Mantis don't like em at all regardless of what the meme is LOL

Speaking of memes, there's already a bunch of KFP memes flying about, I haven't really been in the KFP fandom at all but there's probably memes too idk, the one I see most often is people putting some ridiculous quote like, "If she leaves you for another, there is always her mother" and quote Master Oogway, either that or "There are no Oogways" -Master Accidents or smth

Imagine having those ridiculous Master Oogway quotes float around in this modern technology KFP verse 🗿🗿🗿 it would honestly suck a lot since Oogway was a very respected figure and he died and such

And while we are on this matter, you freaking bet Po and the Five would be ticked if there are memes regarding issues that should not be memed about

Po tries to communicate with the people through his social media and he's basically like "hey could you not make memes about this, it's a sensitive topic for me and the others" and most of the time people do listen, but not always

Now that we have that out of the way, since Po already has action figures of himself, these stuffed toys are like an extra bonus!

I'd imagine Viper would be amazed at the quality of these plushies, like dang bro they are awesome, while Monkey is like super hyped that somebody made something about him! Him!!

Tigress is absolutely disgusted that somebody decided it would be a great idea to make her look cute somehow but hey she can't deny the idea was kinda genius

I feel like that's a soft spot for all of them, they miss him a lot and this stuffed toy is honestly a great sort of "memoir" of him, it'll be like they have a little Oogway with them at all times, so I'd say they all get at least somewhat attached to the Oogway plushies

Po is so upset at the fact that the person who gave them these plushies they made is anonymous, he really wants to go up to them and be like "HEY YOU!! YOU'RE AWESOME, THESE STUFFED TOYS ARE THE BEST!!" and maybe either give them his signature or ask for theirs LOL

Hi, any "Po hugging his friends individually" headcanons.

It is fluff o'clock everybody

First off, let me make it very clear that Po is THE best hugger EVER. Literally. If he sees you feeling down he WILL give you a hug. He's awesome.

Btw if he has other friends out of the movies I uh- unfortunately would not know about it since I've only seen like half of Legends of Awesomeness and never watched Paws of Destiny, so I do apologize for that lol

The person he huge the most is Tigress. I wonder why that is the case... 👀🤔 /hj

Like previously mentioned he'll hug his friends if he sees that they are down and look like they're in need of one, but he'll probably also do it in a way to show his appreciation for them at times and probably also for celebration purposes also

I'd like to add that Po would hug you more often if you're a close friend, but he's willing to hug you as well even if you're just a mutual, although if you're too distant of a friend chances of him hugging you for a reason other than he notices you're sad are very low

Po gives BIG hugs and they're always so comforting too

I feel like he basically hugs Tigress whenever he can but he still has the braincells to not do it so excessively it's weird, like he'll do it under proper context

Hugs between Po and Monkey are brotherly hugs. You see, when there's this huge accomplishment the homies deserve a celebration

Tbh that could be said for anybody, like it's just a friendly hug xDDD (although for Tigress it could mean something more, but maybe not !)

Crane gets a little nervous upon physical contact, he's not a huge fan of hugs but he does appreciate Po trying to make him feel better with his hugs :) but it also depends on the situation cuz we saw at the end of KFP 2 he didn't mind the hug at all (it was a group hug but still)

I can't say much for Viper and Mantis??? Esp Mantis, he's too small for hugs, but I mean Viper could work since Po did hug her in KFP 2
