Headcanons for Tigress

She was treated badly at the orphanage by the other kids and caretakers, stemming from their own fears of her

They made her feel like she wasn’t just a monster, but also a hazard, maybe even said things like “you ruin everything you touch”, “she scares the other children”, “when she leaves, the other children will finally feel safe”, etc

Still struggles with that treatment to this day

Never received comfort from anyone as a kid

She’s secretly still afraid of storms since she was a kid

Still feels like she’s in the isolated room from the orphanage when she is having a trauma response

Still fears large gatherings due to lingering fears of breaking something and being punished for it

Has anxiety, imposter syndrome, and has always struggled with feeling like “too much, and not enough” (Kpop Demon Hunters quote)

Gets anxiety/panic attacks

Secretly wants some form of recognition even if she accepted not getting the Dragon Warrior title

Never let herself have luxury items or bought things “just for fun”

She knew Tai Lung for a bit, and she saw him as a brother figure to look up to

When Tai Lung lost it and betrayed Shifu, it hit Tigress hard since she just lost another family member

Before Po came a long, Tigress was closest to Viper

As she started becoming closer to Po, she became protective of him in a way she isn’t usually with others; Po is just so sweet and she doesn’t want anything taken away from him
