Detroit Pillow Fight

Location: Woodward near WSU, Detroit MI

Never in my life do I want anyone to feel like I am ashamed of where I come from. Like, real talk, I have been broke more of my life than I have been comfortable... but some how you figure out ways to build yourself, if you are strong enough to remain focused, and avoid the depression that is looming oh so apparently in the background. Your character learns not to be limited by the funds in your wallet. You meet great people who face similar struggles, and make you hungrier for finding what makes you feel like a real living and breathing creation. They make you remember the competition in life, and if they are genuine, they also make you remember what it’s like to feel human. Whenever people (especially of color) get together and put on an event that not only relieves stress, gets your body moving, makes you laugh, but also invites the babies out... you must show love. So many people decide to give up on laughter and happiness in their realities of existence... how bout practicing not doing that. Grab a pillow....
