Meet Arana and Khairul, the first two successful chimeras Ludwig created and are bound to him as his guardians.
.
.
Arana is a two headed bird that stands at 6'3 (the subjects used to create Arana were deceased by the time Ludwig performed his operation).
Their spines were fused together with the ribcage and pelvis of a human supporting them. Their legs are comprised of human leg bones modified to bend similarly to a bird's and were fused to the pelvis.
Arana's large claws have the bones and structure of a humans hands that allow it to grab things more securely, however the fingertips are the original claws that belonged to the two birds.
.
Khairul is a fusion between a deer and a human, both of which were live at the time of operation, thus making Khairul his first successful attempt at a live chimera and not a reanimated one like Arana (meaning he used bones to assemble Arana).
Khairul is the only one of the two who has the capability of cognitive speech; the deer head is the one that speaks.
The souls of the subjects were fused together and were given the opportunity to become numb to the pain of their new form if they agreed to serve Ludwig. (still debatable)
.
Arana and Khairul assist Ludwig in his hunts. Arana serves as his aerial support while Khairul serves as his runner and mode of transportation at times.
