@khakisnorgle’s art is honestly a gift to all of us. Also, I really adore Em’s piano skills (YOU GO). And she’s so sweet! Even though we never talked loads, seeing her on my dash makes me feel great. (and dang….those are some sick OCs…right there)

“Get Back”, aka “Black, Brown and White” by Big Bill Broonzy. I recently wrote a paper on this song, but then I fell in love with all his other music too. Not only is the melody good, but the racial commentary is also really legit. It’s here on youtube: x
9.) A memory associated to an artist of your choosing
I got to go to a Dave Brubeck concert my freshman year in high school, and it was the actual coolest thing. He was very frail and they had to help him up on the stage, but once he sat down at the piano it was incredible. He played Take Five of course, and Somewhere Over the Rainbow, a few other ones here and there, and then ended with a jazzy version of Brahm’s lullaby and he had the audience sing the final note, it was great.
