do you ever think about how theon is associated with archery/hunting throughout the series. how he saves bran’s life with an arrow only to be publicly chastised by robb for doing so, and later reflects on that moment as he betrays the starks. how robb’s entire downfall starts with an arrow through the arm, how as he’s being nursed back to health from that wound he finds out that theon supposedly killed bran and rickon, which leads him to break his marriage vows out of grief for them. which then leads to the red wedding, where robb is lured into a trap and slaughtered like an animal…notably by being shot with three arrows (well crossbow bolts). who’s the hunter and who’s the prey. okay cool.
