I am the year of the rat! I actually have a mildly boring/interesting story behind this. Back when I lived in Singapore (when I was like 8 or 9), my parents were convinced I was the year of the pig. That was corrected when the topic came up at school and I realized every who was born in the same year as me were rats. 

48 - Do you sing in the shower?

Do I? I sing practically everywhere and that most definitely includes the shower. I’m singing right now.

I think they can be cheesy in the best way you want cheesy to be. But they also have depth and meaning to them.

Further proceeds to claim that a non-study paper that proposed a hypothesis was based off of decades of study. The paper wasn’t a study and didn’t reference any studies. What decades of study?

Finally forgets that Sociology is not a study of results and attempts to extrapolate the motivation, but a study of motivations to extrapolate results.

1. I specifically designated uncontacted cultures as exception

2. White people arent the only ones wearing these costumes. You think Mexican Americans dont go out as kings and jesters? You dont think black children go out as European pirates? You think little asian children dont go out as French chefs, European dragons, or knights? Why do people like you find a white person dressed as a samurai as racist, but a Japanese person dressed as a knight not to be?

3. Oh., you get mad that some white people cant tell Asians apart? Can you tell the difference between a Criotian and a Turk by looks alone? What about an Austrian and a German by their accents? What about Romanians and Russians? People freqyently get British and English people confused. The typical assumption on Tumblr is that all white people look alike. But here you are acting like the same thing doesnt get done to them. And do you think people in asia and Africa always get the races of other people from their country right?

4. You sound very similar to OP. Your focus seems to be on crapping all over white people for the same actions of other countries, cultures, and “poc”. You are against generalizing other cultures and people, but do it to people of European decent. With that line of thinking, you wont be convincing us of your supposed miral highground anytime soon.
