So I got a request. Btw, love your writing stuff stuff and so ready for you to update soon. Got any headcanons for alastorxreader with the reader…I can’t believe I’m saying this…got turned into a baby because of a spell gone wrong. Oh lord, what fresh hell is he about to go through. Headcanons for us. I’m in a joking mood today. Lol.
((No problem!! Sorry for the wait! This one got lost in the ask box :'3 ))
Alastor looked down at you, his gaze stunned. As the last of the smoke cleared and he found you before him, he couldn't believe his eyes. You stared back up to him with big, fresh doe eyes. Well... this certainly had gone the way either of you predicted. Instead of changing your form into a human disguise, it turned you into a human infant, one that could barely walk or speak.
He blinked, completely stunned by what had happened. Luckily the spell would only last for a few hours, but in the meantime, you were stuck like this.
At first, he found himself lost disgust with the idea of touching you. He foremost hated humans, and secondly, he thought children of any kind were a nuisance. However, he realized he realized he couldn't just leave you alone in your room. So his next instinct was to hand you off to someone else.
He quickly found Charlie down in the lobby. With a bright smile and little bead of sweat by his brow, he shoved you into the princess's arms and said, "Charlie! This is (Y/n)! She got mixed up in a spell that changed her form by accident. It'll wear off in a few hours! Thanks, I'll be right back-"
"W-wait!" Charlie stumbled after him, trying to hold you in her arms while you cried out, "Al! This is (Y/n)!? You can't just leave her with me! I have stuff to do, ya know?!" She ran ahead and cut Alastor off, standing in his way before he could get ou the hotel's front doors, "Look!" Charlie held you out, "She even wants to be with you," Again you were shoved into another pair of arms. Alastor fumbled as he held onto you, but you did stop crying, "You said it yourself, Al, it wears off in a few hours. Just watch her! It's not that hard. Have you never watched a baby before?"
His gaze narrowed as he sheepishly looked around, avoiding Charlie's gaze, "Not really," He said, "Children.... aren't my thing." He'd never been around them and he didn't care to change that.
"Well too bad. You made this mess, you clean it up!" Charlie let out a huff and walked off, leaving you with Alastor once again.
Alastor sighed and tried to ignore you trying to climb up his shoulder and yank on one of his fluffy ears. You were quite the spoiled child. He learned that if he put you down, you'd cry. If he wouldn't get something for you, you'd cry. You'd even cry if he tried to do anything but pay attention to you.
Clingy, needy, and fussy were the three best words to describe the kind of child you were. There were only a few moments where Alastor found joy in any of this. Any time you had a fit of giggles, he'd find himself chuckling quietly under his breath. It was easier to make you smile and laugh as a baby than when you were an adult, that was for sure.
It eventually got to the point where Alastor found himself in his room, sitting in his favorite plush chair by the window. He learned his head back, resting it on the chair as you were cradled against his chest. He turned his gaze to look out the window and onto the city's skyline. The night was creeping in as the sun fell below the horizon. Alastor let out a heavy sigh, yawning with his inhale and finding himself just as sleepy as the toddler in his arms. He didn't see any harm in shutting his eyes if only for a few moments, maybe just enough for a quick nap.
