Bittersweet Candy Bowl 20th Anniversary FanArt

I wanted to throw my hat into the ring and make some special fanart to celebrate BCB's 20th Anniversary. Holy crap! 20 years! That really is something!

Taeshi/Vero wanted fellow artists to do a piece she posted in our own art styles to help celebrate. Very proud of how this turned out and shows how much I've gotten better at doing digital art.

Khao manee cat

The Khao Manee cat, or Khao Plort, also known as the Diamond Eye cat, is a rare, natural breed of domestic cat originating in Thailand, which has an ancient ancestry tracing back hundreds of years.

Khao Manee cats are pure solid-white with short hair and clear, vivid eyes. They are muscular, athletic cats of moderate build and are reputed to be active, communicative and intelligent.

This month's cat is the Khao Manee!

The Khao Manee, which translates to White Jewel, is a breed of all-white cats native to Thailand. Also known as the Diamond Cat, they are featured in the Tamra Maew, an ancient book of Siamese Cat poems. Although a long-lived and well established breed, they were only recognized by TICA (The International Cat Association) in May 2009.

Found out my cat is a Khao Manee. He was supposed to be AT LEAST $7000, and we got him at a shelter for like $200.

I did not know my son was a rare type of cat that I got such a discount for 😭
