Read a two page newspaper article on honour killings and khap panchayats today morning and found the women's march trending on tumblr in the afternoon. I think being a middle class Indian with educated parents living in a metropolitan city kind of obscures the importance of what is happening not 200 miles from my house in favour of something that is happening continents away.
