Ruslan Khasanov, Pacific Light, 2015
Russian Designer Rus Khasanov's work is incredibly experimental, constantly questioning and elaborating on pre created processes, and innovating completely unique methods. His work often serves to recontextualize a medium or field of design and create something that is inherent and no longer speaking to the same effect. His liquid typography exemplifies this as it appropriates the function of the letterforms as a static piece of a communication system and displays them as hand painted liquified forms that function through their intrinsic and expressive form. His paintings are incredibly intricate, radiant, and inspiring in both appearance and context.
