I ended up getting attached to the first character I made for the Book of Travels beta. He's a gentle, and often damp, thief named Khatim who likes mustard and wanders along the rivers, befriending people that will later be quietly and only lightly robbed. I promised myself I wouldn't make YET ANOTHER thief character, and just let the character creator take me where it willed, but immediately broke that promise lol. I imagine he's still very agile, but only fights defensively with his walking stick, waiting until his attacker is either too tired to continue or until he can escape. My initial randomized inventory gave him a jar of mustard, so I decided he just likes to put a bonkers amount of mustard on everything and kept trying to collect jars of mustard while I played
