What made you ship it?

I liked them together in Oathbringer, I was compelled by the singer cast and I was further compelled by our human boy who risked everything to help them. I wasn't really a shipper at the time, but if I'd seen art of them kissing, I'm sure I would have thought it was sweet. However what made me really start shipping them was the way they were both completely shafted by the narrative. Both characters deserve so much better, and I want to give them both that. I think they could have saved each other from their respective narratively doomed statuses.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

They're both so beaten down, and traumatized, they were both actual literal slaves, but they give each other the strength to keep going. Khen gives Moash someone to fight for, and he's willing to face certain death for her and her fellows. Moash helps Khen stand on her own, he uplifts her, teaches her to fight. They're both prickly and cynical and neither of them expects anything from the other, but they end up lighting a fire in one another nonetheless.

I also like that they're both normal people. They're not important or magical or special, they're just regular people fighting for the right to exist, and throwing their lot in with one another completely.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I think that this is the best Moash ship, hands down. This ship represents the timeline where the narrative actually gave a shit about the singers, and where all of Moash's courage and compassion actually meant anything.

What made you ship it?

Okay so last summer I was trying to teach myself how to draw Dalinar, and I made this one drawing of him and Szeth together, and I had this random idea for an au where Dalinar develops a crush on the Assassin in White while Szeth is trying to murder him in WoR. It is this one drawing I made that made me start shipping it. And I could not get it out of my head. So now I've drawn lots of dalszeth. (I've also written some stuff for it, because my current comic is gonna take like another year to finish, and this one dalszeth au will not leave my head, and I don't know how to write, but I'm giving it a go. This is the only ship I've written anything for.)

What are your favorite things about the ship?

I like how they have the exact same problems and would be able to really connect over that if they ever spoke ever, there are lots of fun and interesting parallels there. I also like how Szeth is half Dalinar's size, and is fully capable of manhandling him. And he's done so.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Dalinar is the person who should have been therapizing Szeth, not Kaladin. But also I think Szeth could fix Dalinar. It would go both ways. Man, imagine if they had talked ever. Imagine.
