To be honest, I have no idea how or when exactly I found and started using this icon, but it’s like I associate it so strongly with myself now that I can’t use another one…. So ditto on that one. Also, being associated with the MOTHER series, the egg thief, and coffee is very gratifying.

aren't they an interesting pair? considering they share a similar identity as shifters and how pragmatic they both are... i wish people would explore ymir's relationships outside of the one she has with historia.

Nah I feel ya. I think it's more of case that people feel that Ymir and Christa are canon in a way? So why bother shipping them with other people? At least that's how I think they see it as. Though, I would love to see people write Ymir having friendships with others other than people writing her off as 'that girl who is the worst and no one actually likes her except her gf' sorta thing. Because isn't that what fanfiction is a bit about? To explore the areas that the creator didn't?

But yeah! They're super interesting in so many ways. Because while they're basically opposites in many aspects they've also gone through similar experiences. An example is that Ymir was pushed into becoming a sort of teacher, which she really didn't want to and Annie sort of took that role willingly from what I can remember.

I have a lot more to say about them but I have to leave to get to a doctors appointment, not sure they would appreciate the fact that I was late because I was talking about my otp, haha.
