Rice in Bamboo tube (or Krolan in Cambodian) is a type of sticky rice roasted in the bamboo tube. The bamboo tube sticky rice is sometimes mixed with peanuts to have nice taste. The ingredients are sticky rice soaked in water for 3 hours, then drain off; soybean soaked in water for 1 hour, then drains off; and grated coconut meat. Mix sticky rice, soybean and coconut meat together with a little salt and sugar. Stuff the sticky rice mixture into the bamboo tubes, use the banana leaf to plug up (or dry hay instead). #krolan #khmerfood #khmerdessert #superyummmy #coconutfragrance (at Phnom Penh, Cambodia)
