Rice in Bamboo tube (or Krolan in Cambodian) is a type of sticky rice roasted in the bamboo tube. The bamboo tube sticky rice is sometimes mixed with peanuts to have nice taste. The ingredients are sticky rice soaked in water for 3 hours, then drain off; soybean soaked in water for 1 hour, then drains off; and grated coconut meat. Mix sticky rice, soybean and coconut meat together with a little salt and sugar. ooooo! has anyone ever had this before?! i absolutely LAVVVV it! Especially at little family barbecues. My uncle once made these at his house one summer, it's pretty yummy. What's put inside is sticky, sweet rice with beans or whatever of your choice and its stuffed inside a bamboo and then is grilled. You eat the inside of course lol. :)
