Aircraft Graveyard
Previously, the Frunze airfield was the first airport on the Khodynka. In 2003 the airfield was closed, however on the former runway you can still find old planes and helicopters.
Someone thinks it's a museum, but the airport is practically not protected, all equipment is painted and broken, rusting in the open air.
Awesome photoshoots can be arranged on the abandoned airfield.
And just watching the sunset on the wing of an airplane is an unforgettable experience.

A souvenir cup commemorating the coronation of Nicholas II, 1896. This was one of the gifts to be presented to the people at the Khodynka meadow, where thousands of people were trampled to death following the coronation. It was an inauspicious start to the new reign.
Olga Alexandrovna remembered that the royal party arrived for their appearance at the meadow earlier than expected and saw the bodies being carted away. Nicholas and Alexandra were devastated by what had happened and wanted to cancel further celebrations. The Tsar's uncles convinced him to go on with the festivities, which was a blow to Nicholas' public image. What many people did not know was that the Tsar and Tsarina personally went to visit the survivors in the hospitals. The Tsar used money out of his personal account to pay for the medical care of those who had survived and the funeral expenses and welfare of the families of those who had died.
