Cola Beach, you little heart-breaker, you…
Cola, or Khola, Beach is 11 miles from Palolem. The winey road was quite a fun ride, especially as I, naturally, insisted on driving, with my Swede perched on the back. It’s been voted one of the top beaches in India and you can see why… Not only does it have golden sand, but it also has the added bonus of a lagoon surrounded by palm trees and a spattering of thoughtfully designed wooden huts.
We spent the day there with some Israelis we met, swimming in the fresh, warm water of the lagoon. Dreamy.
