Lord General Kail of the Sanctified.

Daemonmancers and esoteric butchers without peer, the Sanctified are a splinter warband of the Word Bearer’s legion, who departed their progenitors directly following the retreat from Terra at the conclusion of the Horus Heresy.

Not long after their Leader and shortly after head Sorcerer where killed when attempting to achieve ascendancy to daemonhood, the warband dedicated itself fully to the worship of Khorne.

Lord Kail has since lead the warband across the stars, from deep within many of the warpstroms that rage through the galaxy, to the hearts of imperial sectors and the cold desolate frontier stars of the galactic rim. Ever has this pack of blood stained traitors sought to bring forth Khorne’s eternal armies into the realm of man, and their skills at daemon summoning and unhallowed rituals are second to few.

Now, having undertaken the long pilgrimage of countless raids, wars and treks upon unholy worlds, Kail has brought together many of the most blood thirsty followers of Khorne to his banner. From the Fanatical devotees of the Daemonkin, the Sabbat World’s war torn veterans of the Stigmartus renegade guard regiments, to the daemonic hell beasts of the Dark Mechanicus, Lord General Kail has set his sights on the prize he has spoke of since first taking command of the Sanctified.

The Red Crusade of Khorne will be unleashed on the galaxy. The worlds of man and alien will drown in lakes of blood and the infinite legions of Khorne’s soldiers will march from the gates of the empyrean realms to the horns and shouts of his most devoted followers.
