Khors, Dazhbog & Stribog
— Andrey Alekseyevich Shishkin (Russia, 1960)
Linguist M. Pukanek identified Dazhbog as the god of the sun, Khors as the god of the moon and Stribog as the god of the winds. This trio of brothers of the Sun, Moon and Wind is well known from Slovak fairy tales. The same trio is recorded in the folklore of the Balts. Pukanek considers such a coincidence to be non-accidental and archaic, defining Dazhbog, Khors and Stribog as brothers. This is the only potential relation between all Slavic deities that can be hypothesized at the moment. All other deities are not known to have any relations, blood or romantic.
