Worshiping the Primordial Deities
After this post, I figured I will do some post about some deities I worship. I will follow the division I have made in this post, starting with Primordial Deities I worship (even in a slight/casual way).
Erebos
He is the deity of Darkness. This is a very important deity in my life, I've started worshiping Him early in my practice. I can't really express about how much I love Him and how important He is in my worship. I'm scared of the dark and of silence. This deity helped me so much with that, i didn't really ask for it but just thinking about Him helped me manage my fear. Erebos is also the Underworld, making Him a deity I often call upon for grief and loss. I've dedicated my saturday to Him (along with Hekate) and the early morning (as much as I can). I also meditate for Him with ambient sounds
If you want to include Him in your worship, you can try :
watch a sunset/sunrise
journaling (especially about grief and loss, sadness even)
visit a cemetery (be respectful)
listen to ambient sounds, or music
I have a UPG that He is also silence, in some way, as the Underword and the dark, I think that He is really silent and prefers when I gatekeep parts of my practice.
Nyx
Goddess of the Night, She is a deity I've started worshiping before I knew that Helpol was a thing. I don't really "do" things for Her. I have an altar for Her because She is an inspiration and a safe place, I love Her so much, I consider Her like a soft hand. She fells very gentle and quiet. My worshiping of Nyx is intertwine with my insomnia, I will not advise you to spend too much time at night like this.
If you want to include Him in your worship, you can try :
watch a sunset/sunrise
do a night walk (if it's safe)
go star-gazzing
listen to ambient sounds, or music
Khronos
God of Time, I'm considering worshiping Him along with Erebos and Hekate. I'd dedicate my saturday to Him too, as He is the god of time and saturday is a day I associate with death, loss, regret, impermanence...I struggle with time too, I struggle living in the present time, I struggle managing my time too...
Ideas I want to try :
learn time management
spend quality time with people (or the deity)
read philosophical theory about time
read about physic and horology
