Guess who's back!

I decided I wanted to make a 2d vtuber [don't know what else to call them]. I made a full body version, but decided that I wanted to use a Chibi to test out and learn 2D Live, before committing to the 42 day pro trial

Their name is literally 'KittyBee' [Or KittyAstraBee, since KittyBee is taken on most platforms lol]

Been very quiet because I'm trying to keep myself motivated

Trying to make a mermaid game and after doing some animation testing on a simple model, I think I'm actually ready to work on a full one :D

Long story short: I'm making a game where you create your own mermaid, decorate your own home (den?), interact with other mer and humans, etc

Why? Because I've had the idea for a long time and because I'm still technically unemployed

I'm taking suggestions for hairstyles, things to decorate your home with, etc . I want to make it as inclusive as I can, but am starting small for now <3

I was going to add a gif of the simple model, but Tumblr doesn't allow for gifs bigger than 10mb

Instead, have a collage of the items I'm using in the game

Why produce in a mermaid game? People live on land and you can get food from them :D

Mushrooms will be found in underwater caves

Bottles can be found whole or broken (I really like sea glass)

And the lighting on the bottom right was a request from @whydidiwanttobeahuman (my best friend)

I'm working on everything myself, so idk when it'll even be in a demo-able state lol

Did I mention I have a mer-creature OC i’ve been working on? No? Well I have been.

Fun fact: Before I decided to use Star [Animatronic/Robot version] I was gonna make an OC for FNAF SB also named Star. Guess what this mfs name is bc I am so very original and don’t feel like changing their name.

Aanyway, this is just the ‘mostly grayscale’ version, I’m too tired to color anymore today.

Don’t ask wtf is going on with their design either bc idek, I just love being able to draw again.

I just finished coloring these at 4:13am. My brain wouldn’t let me sleep until I colored and properly sized Star

Bonus Amogus under cut, plus things I am thinking to myself.

[I feel like the colors are little weird but I can’t tell which colors are correct bc my drawing tablet has different settings than my computer screen. This is an ever present issue and aaaaaaa]

In other news: Star’s design looks like a mess of colors and I love it, their daycare outfit is fun and I’m loving it. The circus colors are the same as always, so I didn’t add them right now. [Her knee-pads are too far down in the right picture, but it’s whatever. I’m not actually done with the stuff yet so yea]

If the colors look too odd/strong please let me know because I literally cannot tell. [Not talking about amogus tho bc that one is using older colors for funzies.]
