I was going back through my screenshots folder today because I like to refresh my background every few weeks, and I just wanted to mention a thing when it comes to dynamic screenshots after seeing a couple from recently.

I r e a l l y love how the Stormblood shot came out for Ki'to's "Through the MSQ" post, but gods sometimes the angle really is everything.

These were both taken from the same spot with the same warm lighting toggled, I just spun the camera around and moved his head a bit. But that can really make all the difference sometimes.

So, I guess this is just my little soap box to tell y'all to try different angles with your shots. You might find something will go from flat to dynamic with just a flick of the wrist.

Ki'to Through the MSQ

This was brought to my attention today (Thank you @mimble-sparklepudding!) and I wanted to do one for Ki'to now that he's done with at least 6.0

From the beginning I kinda ended up going with a certain outfit throughout each expansion, so this was easy to throw together! It's a shame the spaces are so small though, so here are the un-cropped shots from each!

Also, some brief explanations:

Why does Ki'to only have his sleeve tattoo in SB? He got it done in Kugane, but once he was called to the First, I imagine he was brought there as G'raha remembered him. So, no tattoo. (The truth is I was messing with Lightwarden marks ideas and they didn't play well with his tattoo, so I removed it and gave it a proper reasoning. And in the end I didn't even give him the marks because I forgor) What are the butterflies' significance in the last two? It's my personal headcanon that after being suffused with Light in the First, he became sensitive to light-touched aether, especially the aether that resides in a soul. Those are his friends who have passed on, wishing him well. Also, if you want them, you can find 'em here. :3c

Hopped on Ki'to to do some maintenance before I get on Rhala and ended up catching the perfect time of day to take pictures with that pretty starry veil I finally got. ♡

Tried to capture what looked like a lil snowball fight. It's right outside of Ishgard, so perhaps he was able to drag Aymeric away from the office for a bit. <3

Didn't expect retaliation there, did ya bud? xD If only I could put an impacted snowball on his arm.

#MiqoMarch - Day 29, Soul

#MiqoMarch - Day 28, City

I think Radz-at-Han will forever be one of Ki'to's favorite cities. The vibrant colors and the warm atmosphere are such a draw-in for him.

It's a place full of so much life, and if he hadn't retired to the Cieldalaes for a while, he'd have tagged along with Estinien (whether he liked it or not)
