yup it’s such a joke. my sister is in year 7 at a different school and she got told to self isolate for 2 weeks, was back at school THREE DAYS, and then mum got another message saying she needs to self isolate again because of another covid case. she’s meant to be technically back on the 16th of december and mum is legit just like ‘lol nope not sending you back for 2 days so you get to isolate again in time for christmas’
